I just freaked myself out. I tried this, the exact way he did. I came across my ace so I counted past the 10, and it wasn't my card... I looked through the deck face up, and it was at the very bottom!

@SHiTJuFro743 Your ten will always end up next to the card they pick. It is at the bottom of the deck, so when you finish your cut, you will always put your A-10 on top of their card.

I don't find it amazing. It is still cool but the trick fails when the spectator knows something is fishy when the cards are put in order. I mean, i would know something is up when the cards are put in order.

Once you know the number of cards you have to turn at the end, one way of making the spectator think he's come up with it himself is by getting them to roll a dice... 1 in 6 chance of it being 5. If you need them to get to 10 just have them roll the dice a number of times and subtract or add the numbers as they roll them to arrive at the right number. They'll think its random. Just an idea...

hahah when he was showing you how to do the trick...on the count part when you count out how cards until you reach the spectator's card...all the cards he counted out was in order in suits...cuz it was from the 1-10 suit that he use to help you count....but by seeing that during the trick..that was a totally obvious trick
