@SorthNarolina I think he kinda his selling point is shortcuts all the time. But honestly, microwaved bacon really sucks. Frying in a pan or grilling in the oven is not hard and does not require more washing up.

Its a little dissapointing seeing such great chef, use a mw plus its really not something I would do in my restaurant in NY.

I really miss the TV shows with Jacques and Julia Child cooking together. The ones with Jacques and his daughter were pretty good also.
