@DirtyRomel Well really almost all the parts off on it came on a stock chevys at one time. the vortec heads came on trucks from 97 up and the trans has a corvette servo. 80's camaros came with 3.73 posi, and all the irocs came with flat top pistons im pretty sure. so i could of used a aftermarket cam exhaust intake and carb, and everything else i coulds of got off a stock chevy. so not bad for whats in it. I went to the track last week and i need radials on it.it fries tires through the 60' now
@2001camarolover Summit vortec heads ported. all comp valvetrain, flat top pistons, edelbrock eps intake, 1.6 full roller rockers. lunanti cam. .522 lift with rockers, headers, cutout. 3.73 with weak posi unit. transmission is holding me back alot. it doest shift into third most of the time and when it does it only shifts at about 5000.and the trans has a huge stock truck convertor which KILLS the launches. It only preloads to maybe 1400rpm. w/ a matching trans it should be around 13.5 soon NOS
@71GMCTruck Well turns out my valves were floating around 5500 rpm. i got the height set and it revs up great now. And i got an edelbrock eps intake which helped it out too. whats yours running??
13.97. at 98mph Its 13.9's all day when the trans shifts.
Im putting some more stuff into it this winter and thinking a low 13. I just put some decent radials on it today. I need a better intake. the car runs out of power around 5500 rpm and everything else is good to 6000. so im thinking a performer RPM, and a 5 speed or a decent stall convertor. Its does have a cutout which really does help.

Daaco makes a 2100 stall for $100(to your door). With ET streets, I hit 1.95 60ft's(1.75 on a 150 shot) and my camaro isn't quite as hot as yours.
Also, I've been told that port matching your intake will give you the extra 500rpm's your looking for.

@REGALBOY82 I haven't run 1/4 mile but, in the 1/8th, it's done 9.09 on motor/8.27 on a 150 shot(outran fuel bowl midtrack). Check out my vids.

idk They can run 13 stock but usally not. even ls1 vettes i see in ther low 14's.

Yea, u both should feel lucky your not up here in colorado lol we have alot high DA and u lose about a second from lower DA's to here..
A low 13 sec car at sea level, will run mid 14's here :(
