  • One of my wife's uncles was a foreman on the railroad to hell during WWII. He supervised track layers and helped build the bridge over the Khwai River. My wife is Malay.

  • a classic tune

  • Haha...omg what a classic this is!

  • And the lyrics: Hitler has only got one ball, Göring has two but very small, Himmler is somewhat sim'lar, But poor Goebbels has no balls at all.

I used to sing these lyrics to this tune before I even know who Himmler was.

  • This was originally titled as "The Colonel Bogey March", but when used in the soundtrack to the film "Bridge on the River Kwai" it became misconstrued as the 'River Kwai March".

  • 5 people can't whistle . . .

  • malcom song

  • This is cool . What happened to #4 and might it have been the Top Gun opening when the jets and radio chatter mixed to a crescendo.

That was a magnificent bit of work.

  • I think you skip No. 4?! *confused*

  • Hitler has,, only got one ball!!!! the other,, is in the Albert hall!! his mother!! the sick sick fucker!! chopped it off, when he was,, just small!!! (to the startin tune bit)

  • Seriously? The bridge on the River Kwai number 5!!! Were you drunk ? That movie theme ought to be 2nd best of all time!!!

  • Spaceballs :P

  • Denovo, pq tem um cara da organização 13 no começo do vídeo???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • am i the only one who noticed that there is no 4th movie in this list?

  • @mckelroy88 Actually, there used to be a forth movie in this list... however, YouTube took it down because of unintentional infringment.

  • @StakeJade oh thats lame. well what was the song?

  • @mckelroy88 The song was "Suo Gân" as performed by James Rainbird and the Ambrosian Junior Choir directed by John McCarthy. It was from Empire of the Sun starring Christian Bale and John Malkovich.

  • are you aware that the ride of the valkyries music was hitler's favorite, and required listening for all good nazis during ww II? Please do not limit your knowledge of world history to hollywood.

  • @joshua5800 When I hear the Ride of the Valkyries, I actually think of Opera before anything else... especially movies. In fact, Ride of the Valkyries is one of my favorite classical pieces because I love classic music... not because it was featured in a movie.

I could see why Adolf Hitler had his Nazi regime listen to the Ride of the Valkyries. It's very empowering and driving. But should the fact that Hilter had his troop listen to the piece change how I think of it?

  • @StakeJade Whenever I hear ride of the Valkyries, I think of Elmer Fudd singing, "Kill the wabbit! Kill the wabbit!" but that's just me.

  • @pablononescobar Haha! Oh yeah... Chuck Jones' "What's Opera, Doc?". I still love watching those cartoons. They're classics! ")

  • @pablononescobar It ain't just you and i'm glad it ain't just me.

  • @joshua5800 yea plus Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Wagner, Anton Bruckner was Hitler's favorite! And please do not limit your knowledge of just with "The river Kwai March (clonel bogey march)

  • @joshua5800 ..Nobody really knows HItlers favorite piece...for all we know he might have been fond of Spike Jones and "In Der Fuhrer's Face"

  • @joshua5800 that music is japan or english

  • @joshua5800 You sir, got pwned. lolololololololol

  • @joshua5800 Asshole. Just because psychos like Hitler or Obama like something doesn't mean we can't like it. Go fuck off with your Democrat Maoism.

  • @joshua5800 I like how you said "don't limit your knowledge to Hollywood", and in the same sentence mentioned that it was required for all Nazis to listen to a certain song because Hitler liked it. Seriously?

  • Das wird bei uns beim festmarschumzug immer gespielt

  • omg

  • this reminds me of one of the scenes in the parent trap lol

  • Das ja wohl ma richtig gei l!!! Davon noch nen Technoremix dann ist alles wieder gut !!!!!!

  • theme from bridge on the river kwai is also called colonel boogie march--madmac

  • Bridge on the River Kwai Theme is the best

  • Love this song...

and quick question the starting song sounds like it could be from another war movie as it sounds very familiar perhaps Letters from Iwo Jima?

  • Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Clint Eastwood ... Pvt. Kelly Telly Savalas ... MSgt. Big Joe Don Rickles ... SSgt. Crapgame Carroll O'Connor ... Maj. Gen. Colt Donald Sutherland ... Sgt. Oddball (tank commander)

  • I don't know if the theme from 'Patton' made it as one of the top war time movie songs, but if it didn't it should have.

  • A man xD

This melody is so edicting xD

i can flute it ol the time now xD

and you cant get it out of your head xD

  • I think Ride of the Valkyries should be in Slot #1.

  • @DavidOrtiz246 Ah yes... the helicopter scene from Apocalypse Now. Awesome scene. I've always loved the classical song... however, for some reason it doesn't really touched me as the others do...

  • Hitler- had only one ball

    Goering's are very small

    Himmler's are oh so similar

And Goebells had no balls at all

  • also good war movies are a bridge to far and the longest day (D-Day)

  • oh nos i know now where! when im 5 i played mtal slu.g. this song was also played while e paraded(im a drummer o_0) hahah ty i remember now

  • @tristanalvarez the 2nd part sounds like the imperial march for star wars in a way

  • This sounds like the Mitch Miller version of Colonel Bogey March and not the movie's theme music which I think is slightly better.

  • What was # 4?

    I can't find it.
