I came into rap when Illmatic came out. It will always be my favorite rap album. Then 36 Chambers came out to become a close second. This album is in my top 10, but it is not my favorite. The thing is that this album is light-years better than the crap on the radio and in the clubs.  Watch out for J Cole and Jay Electronica too. Hopefully, they will bring hip-hop back to where it belongs.

@Critical2k10 No every album by Nas isnt a classic. But Lost Tapes is. Every track on this album is heat. And the thing that makes it so bad: THESE ARE THROWAY TRACKS! In my opinion Nas has 4 albums that are undisputed classics: Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, and Lost Tapes. And Untitled was far from mediocre. It was probably the best album of 2008. It was definitely better than The Carter 3, thats for sure.
