Good day. I'm a pre-hospital emergency specialist. This kit has some great substance. The needle issue is warrant; the reason is you have to know your anatomy to place invasive needles in the thoracic region. The correct anatomical position is not in a large area, and if placed incorrectly (by a few centimeters), the patient (victim) could bleed out in matters of minutes. But to carry this kit is excellent for if someone is around that has medical training. I would recommend this...
@deltaromeocharlie - Thanks. I talk about getting training SEVERAL times in this video as well as talking specifically about the needle at 5:20. I know somebody could bleed out but Tension Pneumothorax is going to kill them in a few minutes anyway.
Very good kit . It has everything I've been looking at to put in one of my trauma kits . The nasopharyngeal and a lot of wound packing materials even the thorax needle . Because hey you never know . In mine there will also be a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff . They are bulky but at least have the stethoscope . Whoever is working on you might need it or if you are the one working on someone else .
Great video James . They are getting better and better.
As far as the NPA (Nasopharyngeal) goes measure from the nose to the Tragus (bottom of ear) and cut it to fit, don't shove it and hope for the best. also blood and saliva work well as lube. Cool kit.
Cutting it would work but it is time consuming and unnecessary. Shoving it is is fine and they need air fast anyway. Brain damage begins within seconds.
I am glad I am ethical to help. I hope your business TR stays posperous for many years to come. It is real american patriots like you sir whom make me want to take more training, and continue being a get off the x member. When I earn funding i will attend your psd courses. do you need a volunteer gunsmith student to be the armorer at TR?
On the issue of needles etc using the vok if your overseas fuck state side laws use it to live. Especially when your in bfe miles away from the hospital whom cares, I rather have someone use the vok on me before emt's get around.
still tho sir, I would hope someone with ethics would say to hell with liability save my six. Just as when your on duty working ur part time leo job if your hurt from a wack job gunman i would take attend your wounds and blast the wackjob
Now thats one hell of a good kit! I will be purchasing a couple of those myself! Being an EMT I think that is the first kit as well stocked as I have ever seen.
I find it interesting how people who are not afraid to carry a gun to potentially kill someone, will have reservations or apprehension to carry a little needle to save someones life.
Could have used this after I got into a knife fight the other day.....better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Another reason to put gloves on is to protect the person you may be working on. Just a thought.
