I have this episode on 16mm film. It's in pristine condition and even has the "place commercial here" bumpers throughout it. My kids enjoy me putting this on the projector from time to time.

So my guess is that the people who are making these bootleg DVDs, had recorded the episodes off TV when the series was being reshown in the 80's.

Unfortunetly, at this moment there is no official release of this series. However, I believe I've heard there are people on ebay who sell homemade dvds (transferring vhs recordings to dvd) of this complete series! You could check it out I suppose.

Well, actually only one of them is American. George and John are both voiced by American Paul Frees, while Paul and Ringo are voiced by Brit Lance Percival. Lance voiced Old Fred in the Beatles Yellow Submarine film. My only quess as to why he dropped his accent was because they thought American children would have a tough time understanding him, which is completely stupid.
