In some ways I agree, but as a teacher I have to advise my students to make it as obvious as possible what each bit of their sketchbook is about - the exam board moderator won't know how each student was thinking so you have to make it almost TOO obvious

is it not best to not use titles? because i find that it makes your work flow less naturally. I'm aware that this's to pass an exam not to actually create something but still...

ohh wooow i love it! im takeing art GCSE next year and i think im gonna fail :'( whats all the writing about? and what grade did u get?

@starlite15 all the writing is either [a] opinions and ideas about the work of other artists or [b] explanations of the ideas being developed or [c] evaluations of the work done so far - your GCSE teacher next year should explain all that to you - im actually a teacher and this sketchbook was from one of my students a couple of years ago (i posted it up here to help this years students) - the student got a B grade for this and her two other sketchbooks + final outcomes
