If u have a mac osx 10.4 or later in the house....then get Paradise Paintball v.3.0.8.....if not, go onto google type in paradise paintball, (should be on a site called cmune) and download this unity 3d webplayer! then go to the site, create an account and ur good to go! I hear crossfire is an excellent game too!

Is Half Life 2 OPEN SOURCE???  No, Half Life 2 is proprietary, an $20. Nexuiz is free. You get what you pay for. Considering all of the effort that went into Nexuiz, and the fact that it is free, means that you should just stfu.

Nope, Nexuiz is based off DarkPlaces, a heavily modified Quake Engine, not Unreal Tournament, morons.

on a 512mb nvidia card I run it with 200fps (1,5GB ram) so I don't think that can be a problem, a better washing machine should run the game. I'm running it on fedora linux. Nice game

Start nexuiz with the -game pro option like:

nexuiz.exe -game pro

If you are on windows.

Every now and then there are "pro" servers, otherwise multiplayer remains at nexuiz speed - naturally.

You can open your own server of course.

It's an open source game inspired by UT2k4 and it runs on the Unreal Engine. Trust me, open source gets security holes patched very quickly.

Every game can be hacked, but it sure isn't easy to hack this one, AFAIK.

Oh yes, that's why Opensource will win in the end. Linux and games like these will come out on top. It's because of development groups. Regular companies have closed development, limited to a small number of people. Opensource, however, is not limited at all, so anyone can patch an exploit, and anyone can fix a big.
