You left out MSG. LOL. Holy moly. The Japanese uses tremendous amounts of MSG in just about everything--especially shio soup.

it is amazing that considering all the sodium, msg and cigarettes that the japanese still on average have a much longer life span than almost any place else. although the home cooking probably helps to balance out the effects of the crappy things one eats when they eat out... unlike here in america where even our home made food tends to be crappy for you also haha

Anyway I love japanese ramen nothing compares...cant believe people eat that crap for 20 cents a package.
