Yah!! in the wild they are used to bild nest for the whole comunity. Theyre are uge nests, some time going from one tree to another without interruption. They all have theyre own entrance but everyone keeps the uge nest in conditions. But do not ask about the noise level....
How did u get them to build their nest? I have 3 quakers, 2 of which are now starting to mate. I have put numerous things in their cage for them to build out of, but with no luck. Any suggestions or ideas on how to get them started on nest building would be greatly appreciated.
@savchick1329 twigs, small branches, shredded newspaper , straw or grass. are just a few different materials you can give them make sure the tree you get the twigs and small branches from aren't poisonous you can Google different Trees to find out which ones are and aren't poisonous to birds
Does Sparky talk? My Quaker talks up a storm... often imitating my mothers laughing and phone conversations, coughing, etc. It's sorta amazing to see how busy and quiet he is ! LOL (that can be a blessing LOL)
She's being a typical women... "No you're doing it wrong...her let me do it for you!!!"
