As for me I watch anime but don't read manga, b/c I don't know Japanese and I refuse to read it in English. But now I can actually watch anime and understand like 40 percent of everythin said lol after a couple years of hardcore watching.

@GrayAu They're really hard to find, as far as I know. XD I only read when the manga is better than the anime, or the manga is ongoing and the anime is finished. Anyway, you should still try to read manga. They're still really good even though it's in english :). I suggest a Gakuen Alice manga if you haven't read it. If you loved the anime, the manga is longer, and the plot continues >:D.

Hahaha, ever seen Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, K-on, or Toradora? There's even more anime series I've seen with extremely cute girls that I can't remember right now. My point being, Shana has a lot of competition :p

My personal favorite would be Haruhi Suzumiya ;D

And if you like Shana's tsundere personality, you should definitely watch Toradora. The main girl in it, Taiga, has the same voice actor as Shana :)
