Thanks for this video, i searched for hours for a semi beginner video on how to play this song and this was the only decent one i found. I was wondering about the fifth chord tho, around 1:11 in the video u say that u probably know where that lands and i actually have no idea when that chord is supposed to land so if you could explain that to me i would be soooo thankful!

@kiddpinoy23 The ukulele I bought came with simple songs like happy birthday, amazing grace, simple things. I have a guitar background so it came naturally and was able to play the day I bought it and started writing my first song that week. Learn the basics, Learn the easy songs with easy chords, and build from there. Sometimes the hardest thing is actually making the commitment and going out and buying the instrument..so you're halfway there :) baby steps..

@kiddpinoy23 if you get REAL complicated in to the uke it can have thousands of chord formations and different keys you play it in. but most of the stuff sounds good because its a happy instrument regardless :P just learn chord formations and then try to learn to play 2-3 popular songs (very well) and then experience comes so much easier after that

@kiddpinoy23 took me a month or 2 to just get the basic strumming chords down and learn 5-7 songs, but I have been teaching myself from youtube videos. I found it very easy for me to pick up, even though it is my 1st instrument as well. You can go to my channel where I have a bunch of Ukulele training videos that have helped me learn if ya like. Chicken im guessing you dont pay much attention to what he says throughout the video. I watched this a few times before I got my Ukulele and because of this video Im getting pretty close to being able to play this song smoothly. Jcvanluyn is doing a great job at doing this tutorial if he can teach a person with no musical experience to play a song like this. You just don't know how to pay attention i guess.

I noticed one thing that would be very helpful. Also You did a very good job at explaining, but im not suprised because in the military you learn leadership and I almost forgot Sargents Time Training on Thursdays or Fridays. Im pretty sure you traind your fellow comrades, therefore teaching on youtube will be easy for u. Follow your dreams and soar to heights because you are your only enemy.
