hey im having trouble changing the backing to a photo. I have photos saved on my ipod and it wont allow me to set them as the background. I have even tried using a flashdrive and it still wont let me save the photo to the background. help plz

@ryanlester1980 you need to buy a tv-tuner module first, plug it into your deck (ther's an plug in the back) and you can use your tv option

I loaded a bunch of divx videos onto a dvd. It plays fine but is there a way to set it to "shuffle" or "random" mode? It only plays in the order it was burned onto cd/dvd. In the system menu I see "random" but it is greyed-out. thx!

its double din, look that up if you dont know what it means. i just bought one of these to have custom installed in the bottom part of my 06 honda accord. it was a custom install though like i say. there is no double din kit for my car. maybe there's a double din kit for a chevy impala. then it would fit. either way, you could get it installed custom, if you got the extra money. which you should this bad boy is 4 hundo anyway, which is alot for a head unit

Keep on checking out youtube. There is a video on how to make the bypass relay to accomplish this. FYI, some states it's illegal to do so. I did a little modification on my setup where I have a switch that either does the bypass via the relay or runs off the actual e brake. That way I stay legal where ever I travel.

you can do so, but don't watch movies wild driving, all you have to do is ground the cable that is supposed to go from your deck to your e-brake to the car chassis and put a switch between the ground cable and the car chassis, so that u can trick the radio of thinking that you are using the emergency brake/ and you will get video!

No sd slot but it does have a usb port on the back. Not sure if putting a disc reader on that will work.

yes it would i have a itouch 32g -2g it charge too, but you need the pioneer cord cd-iu200v, to play vid from your ipod, the oem ipod cable only plays music.

Buy this deck from crutchfield they give you the cd-iu200v cable free along with everything else you need.

I was wondering if its possible to put music videos on a dvd or ipod and have them play continously back to back or even shuffle them... If anyone knows this answer that would be awesome! ~Dave

yes you can play video, i have a ipod classic 80g, as well as a itouch too, on my ipod classic i can play my entire video playlist, but with my itouch it only lets me play one video at a time, them i would have to manually skit to the next video, i think that is something about the itouch softwear.

There is a cord that you can purchase to control the ipod through the screen and from what I have heard, it works quite well.

Just use the cord that comes with the iPod and and aux cord.

It will show up the band and any other info that is on the mp3... over all its great... recommend using the usb adapter less amount of CD's running around the car (having this radio has solved this issue for me)
