I get the impression that this is really about the globalist socialists (of which is Keith Hart) struggling for control of the world's population, against the globalist capitalists.
Notice in the later lectures he bemoans the loss of socialist amenities amongst so called poor countries. This is control freak vs control freak. Everybody wants to rule the world.
You're obviously no very familiar with Kieth Hart's ideas. He's certainly not a socialist and certainly doesn't want to control anybody. Instead he encourages people to find their own place in the world, whatever that may be.
