If CU is soooooo much better, then why do they continue to feel the need to defend themselves when it comes to CSU. As Stanton points out, they SHOULD win every time, but CSU has heart, and CU does not.
trumpet: CSU had a winning record over CU from 1999-2002 (3-1), and it isn't like CSU didn't have great chances to win all three from 2003-2005, and we won 2006.
Yes, CU owns us, but my thing is is with the recruiting advantage CU has always had, I'd be more embarrassed that CSU has had the success they've had. CU is a garbage program with no heart. CSU is and always will be the little guy, but we've always had heart and I take much more pride in who we are and what we stand for. GO RAMS!!!!
Hawkins sure has done a great job with recruiting, no doubt. And, IMHO, although getting out-of-state studs is very important, what is even more important for Colorado to keep staying good is to do very well recruiting in-state players almost every year. Although Colorado doesn't produce as many players as California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and Florida, Colorado High School Football is somewhat underrated. Who agrees?
ha, guess who won that game. but csu's highlights looked really good ;) ...too bad the highlights can't play, they might have won...maybe.(sense the sarcasm)
CSU hasn't won a game since October 7th of last year. Out of the last 11 games, their record stands at a staggering 0-11. CU on the other hand is playing well and is improving every week. We have a lot to look forward to...I wish I could say the same for the rams.
You're a freakin' idiot. Best team in history? I really thought CU had better curriculum so as their students wouldn't be so dense. CU won in OT by a field goal...
Why won't your boys add my Bobcats to your schedule. You would think the best team in history wouldn't lose to Montanta State twice in a row, right?
What a joke. Today's game was about as even as I have seen.
As an outsider, CU will always be overshadowed by incessant controversy and scandal. It's like a laundry list of bad decisions, poor excuses, and ridiculous banter. That's how people outside Colorado view CU. And from the looks of it, that's not going to change anytime soon. Hope you all don't get shot on your way to class this morning.
haha, an outsider? an outsider to what? incessant controversy and scandal? that is such old news. sure, it gets talked about from time to time, but the banter you speak of has become rare. and, do you speak for all those outside of Colorado, jjmax? your flippant comment about getting shot shows your lack of sensitivity, class and intelligence.
As an outsider, I can say without thinking about it that CSU is a bunch of homos for trying to put themselves on the same level as Colorado. Rams, you have no historical greatness, and the only thing you have to hang your hat on this century is beating the worst CU team in 20 years in the most boring game I have ever seen. You will ALWAYS be overshaddowed by the Buffs, win or lose.
This video has one glaring omission: the Lawrence Vickers play. This was the game where he was pushing across the goal line and #6 was in his way, so he used his right forearm to throw that chump right down on his back, proceeding to then stomp into the endzone and flex for the crowd. FUCK YOU CSU!
I would be embarrassed to go to CU and root for the stripper recruitment program. You were good a decade ago, and now CSU owns you. All time you got them for sure, but lately, as in the time we're living, that's another story. GO RAMS, continue to beat those trust fund, out of state hippy smokers!
its funny that you say the rams own CU recently because stats say otherwise. 5 game record: 4-1 CU. 10 game record: 6-4 CU. 15 game record: 11-4 CU. 20 game record: 15-5. the rams NEVER have had a winning record over CU. the closest the rams come to having a winning record over CU is the 2 year record (1-1) followed by the 9 year record (5-4 CU). dont talk shit if all that is coming out of your mouth is shit.
It's tradition. I personally loved watching/going to those games. I thought it would have been a CU video considering they won. CU won '03, '04, '05 and then as we all know , lost a shit ton of games last year, CSU being one of the games, 14-10. I'm stoked for this upcoming year to see what Hawkins is going to do with the team. They have a lot of young people committing to Hawkins and the Buffs.
I believe you mean Montana State owns CU go Bobcats. I dont even attend CSU, but I dont see how you can say you own them when in the last 8 yrs the series is split 4-4 and you got luck with the 4 you got. To say you own them alltime is ludicrous, thats like saying Princeton is the best football team of all-time with all the NC's over 100 years ago - poor argument. Im just sorry CU wont add my Cats for any more games. We might be Div II but we own CU.
Wow, the team you beat that year went 2-10. Honestly, if CU would have played and beaten Notre Dame this year we wouldn't bragging like we had just beaten a #1 team. But you beat a sucky team and can't stop jacking off to it. I agree that its pathetic that we lost to your school but Montana State doesn't own anybody.
At least CSU can properly account for player's meals, heh, see ya later scholarships. The Liberal thinking man's gotta step it up. Maybe if we capitalized every word in a sentence and abandoned spellcheck we could understand where you're coming from. Also "People's republic of Boulder" has absolutely no positive connotation associated with it, though it's rather humorous you think it does. Finally, CSU will never be in a situation such as CU last year to lose to Montana State. How embarassing.
CU Or CSU, hmmmm Tough Decision, Do I Go With The Liberal "People's Republic Of Boulder" Who Has Won A National Title & At Least On A National Scene Has A Reputation Or Do I Go With The School Who Is Mainly A Conservative "Middle Of Nowhere" School Being A Big Fish In A Small Pond??? CU Is The Thinking Man's Awnser, Go Buffs
Yes CU went 2-10, perhaps one day they too can go 4-8 in the mountain west conference. QUIT BULLSHITING RAM IDIOTS! You're in a situation just as bad as us, if not worse.
CU is a real academic institution. Clever. Is that CU's slogan for their new recruiting campaign over there because it shows. It may be all those things including your pubic ivy except class. CU has the worst fans in college football as well as the most tainted football program in the country.
you realize that Colorado leads the series 57-18-2 against CSU. Not only that, but it's a lame excuse to say they CU is in a better conference and so should play better...Colorado is in the Big 12 because CSU isn't good enough to be in that conference. Also, this highlight reel is from a bunch of seasons mashed together...notice the changing uniform colors and stadiums. Hence, CSU couldn't even put together a decent highlight reel from a single game. Way to go Goats!
CU is a real academic institution. You know, three Nobel laureates, a public ivy, the flagship University for the state, all that good stuff. CU National Championships 1 CSU 0. Go mow some lawns and eat some hay.
You mean shared National Championships 1... that should have a fat asterisks next to it. You're probably too young to remember the 5th Down that put CU ahead of Mizzou, and the "clip" call against Notre Dame. Both were egregious errors as noted in replays and by analysts alike, and both calls would have directly led to CU losses. CU got so damn lucky in 1990. They don't deserve to be called National Champs.
Theres an example of that great CU education. So I guess "like 99% of the time" is a precise percentage you calculated. Don't be mad cause we kick CU's pathetic ass this year. CSU win like 99.5% of the time vs CU *laughs*
If CU is soooooo much better, then why do they continue to feel the need to defend themselves when it comes to CSU. As Stanton points out, they SHOULD win every time, but CSU has heart, and CU does not.
