I did take some lessons, but not how to strum. That comes with practice, and plenty of time. Don't worry, you'll get it. Just play different things. Different styles. Different songs. Play theme songs. Learn the melody of songs. Just be patient.
@DrunkLaserTagPlayer Ohhh....okay. Well, if you wanna start there that's fine. Whatever you want. I was just saying in the actual song the bass doesn't come in right away and so that's why I started where I did. It's just singing, then guitar and drums to start off the riff, then the bass comes in for the final face punch. A good face punch.
I think when I buy a new bass I might be a American Deluxe P-bass. It seems like the P-bass has that deep rumble i'm looking for. I'm a starter so I have a Squier Affinity J-bass that I got for graduation last year.
@Cryo5cythe Nie choice. I like it. Right now I play with just a P-bass. My Deluxe is fretless now, and I don't always feel like playing it becase of that.
Good would be nice to see. I have the ODB-3, I found that provides a more bassy tone so I mix it with the Boss Fuzz pedal to add treble which is my favourite tone. Let me know how the MXR is might have to get hold of one, What I really want it the Akai Deep Impact and the Human Animato Distortion which are both Chris's too.
The Akai Deep Impact is his general Synth pedal apart from the Digitech Synth Wah, And Human Animato used in Hysteria, Supermassive, Starlight. But he also uses a russian big muff. If you want I can send a list of all his amps, cabs, order of pedals, which pedals, and how he mixes them.
YOU ROCK... MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Another nice cover!, only comment here is do you have any distortion, overdrive or fuzz to put on it?
Absolution34 2 years ago
I didn't before Christmas, but I do now!
bakersman12 2 years ago
ah if you have the time would be nice to see it with one! what you got??
Absolution34 2 years ago
I can try that. I got the ODB-3 Boss OverDrive, and the MXR Blow Torch. Both of which are pedals used by Chris.
