It's very strange how it's not working on the thicker cardstock. It's supposed to staple on grunge paper, fabric, etc. I love mine and I've never had a problem with it... maybe it's defective? Your camera didn't focus too well on the actual bad staples, so I couldn't tell exactly what they looked like. Hope you figure out what's wrong....maybe before you buy a new one, go to a scrap-store with that cardstock and try it before you buy it. U can message me anytime on FB about any YT questions :)
I have a problem when theres almost no staples inside the attacher. It will staple great for me when it's almost full but when there are only a few left, it starts to get really weird for me. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be though because I hardly use it. Hope you are able to figure it out, Mercy
I just tried mine on double thickness REALLY thiuck card and it was fine. Have you tried changing the staples? I think I had a similar prob a while ago, and it was because the staples weren't in properly. Otherwise I think you should return it. Hope that helps!
Oh yes, you can always try to contact Tim Holtz! He's so nice and backs his products 100% from all the vids I've watched w/ issues related to his product and a store or whomever won't replace or issue a replacement.. he will. With a 40 or 50% coupon it's only $5-6 dollars. So, I wouldn't contact Tim about something so little, but that's another option. You're HILARIOUS, btw! I've been your sub for some years now. If my stores still has them, I'll buy you one and mail it to you.

BIG SHHHHHH!!! just purchase it again the store that carries them (my michael's does and HB). Test out the new one, if it works, keep it and put the old one back into the package, bring it back up to the store and return it! I never did that, but now..*light bulb*. I have NO problems with mine. I never touched it or got it out of the package from 4 months ago. LOL! It works perfectly! Now putting the staples in.. well yea, that's just a disaster there.
That would annoy me! To have to go through all that to get it to work properly! It starts with research & development!

@smscrapper Sharon, yes, this has to be defective because I've seen Nichol Magouirk videos and she staples right through cs, pp & ribbon.
It ALWAYS happens to me!!!
