The philiosphy of Brother Marcus Moisah Garvey Jr says it all, Garvey was inspirational because brought a captured people into a freed people, he was the one who fought and fought in-order to uplift African people to be aware and to believe in themselves as well as to be self-reliant onto their foundations.
The Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey said the if only the enemies knew that I am but a John the baptist in the wilderness and that a Greater and More dangerous Marcus Garvey is yet to appear the Garvey with whom you will have to reckon for the injustice of the present generation. Afrika for the Afrikans.
I made dirty love to BekaShakur and she was great! The only thing is that ,after she got all hot and sweaty ,she was hard to hold on to.You know what I'm saying? That oily negro skin and now I can't get the smell out of my house. Help me out . How do ya'll do it?
i hope the voice of the person impersonating the honourable Marcus Garvey is a person with that natural accent because if not it is annoying and offensive they should have read it as it is without trying an accent.
Hoover employed black agents to destroy MG. DuBois thought MG was a Baffoon and coon. DuBois later regretted selling out MG in his autobiography after leaving America to stay in Ghana.
quick footnote garvey was chilling with the kkk in america beside he wanted to live in the usa more so then africa. in reality he didnt do anything or was he successful, he failed
Actually, his closest business associates where on the payroll for J. Edgar Hoover as secret agents and there operation was to destroy the "black millionaire" who wanted to make a change, and they succeeded. But his legacy is not dead and will never die.I love serving the DEDICATED IGNORANCE syndrome suffers a history lesson.
There's a video on YOUTUBE (THE INFLUENCE OF MARCUS GARVEY) about all of his accomplishments in the early 1900's(few blacks strived for a global change in these years.).
Lets not forget also that although the Hon. Mr. Garvey was a visionary and a accurate and eloquent voice on the condition of the African in his time, He also was able to accurately and effectively outline what needed to be done. We still have not implemented his programme fully but what we have done has worked. Ask Brother Malcolm or Brother Martin where their inspiration comes from. Conclusion read the whole story before you try to tell it to someone else.
Sadly this momentous meeting did not materials because of the untimely death of the Hon. Mr. Washington. In my view all the work that the Hon. Mr. Garvey managed to accomplish in America was done on the shoulders of the wise ancestors that went before Him. In fact the teaching of both men were united simply because of the respect that the Hon. Mr. Garvey had for the Hon. Mr. Washington.
History tells us that the Honourable Marcus J Garvey travelled to America because of the teaching of the Honourable Booker T Washington. The Hon. Mr. Garvey hoped to converse with the Hon. Mr. Washington and join forces in the fight for liberation of the African soul and spirit.
I believe that Marcus Garvey came to Black America to take us of track in what we were already doing and it worked. African Americans had blk owned Banks, Our own lands, blk owned Business, before Marcus Garvey was even born in Jamaica. We had our own schools all that. So to big up Marcus Garvey and not The Honorable Booker T Washington. Is disrespectful to our own AfricanAmerican History. READ READ YOU MIGHTY RACE
Everybody forgot about The Honorable Booker T Washington who Marcus Garvey got his knowledge from. Jamaicans dont acknowledge The Honorable Booker T Washington. They erased him and callin Marcus Garvey The Lion of Liberation this is a lie
in order to birth the New Africa we have to pour our combined donations & contributions into one small desperate, destitute town in africa (Luena, Angola or Guinea-Bissau 4 example) & modernize it to today's standards. we'll spread out from this small town. but the real 1st step is to see New Africa as our religion. once the New Africa is created it will reveal the face of God to start his world tour not only for africans but 4 everybody.
The problem is that most african nations are in dept to other nation so deep that they devote most of thier money to try and repay this collossal dept. If you really want to help africa why not start a petition to ask your government (america or the UK) to forgive africa of its dept so it can begin to help itself.
but we have money & resources here tho. so we can invest in something like growing organic food gardens over there(organic foods being such a hot item) or casinos or whatever form of entertainment that generates revenue. these will not only earn enough to pay off the debt but it'll open the door to the New Africa & it'll expand from there. we're the real missing link to africa. they cant make it without us & we cant make it without them. so the only solution is for us to go over & build/invest.
The point is we are donating money to buying them water clothes and food which is great but they could do that on their own if we stabolized thier economy first. Its like we are putting a bucket under a broken pipe instead of fixing the pipe itself.
but if u think about it it hasnt been proven that they can do for themselves. africans cannot survive & have no future without a number of african-americans & those of african descent from around the world moving & living in africa to upgrade it. african-americans will never succeed on a major scale without africans directly involved & vice versa. so we have to make permanent investments over there & build modern, advanced communities while maintaining a position here in the states as well.
That would work but it seems to me that forgiving their dept would be alot easier than convincing people to move to africa. After we have shown so many videos about how poor living conditions are and all the Darfur news coverage i seriously doupt that many americans would want to leave their nice suburban homes to move to africa.
What a joke: "Afrika cannot survive without those in the Diaspora". There are many things about Afrika most of us still need to learn. Talk about Resources: e. g. Afrika has the biggest land space along the equator. Do you know what that means agriculturally? Blacks in America need to get themselves more involved in official matters between the USA and Afrikan countries. The main policy of the USA wrt Africa is: Disrupt all communication between Blacks in the USA and Afrikans at home.
yea but africa cant rely on selling the natural resources forever. the natural resources should actually be the last thing we sell because our gifts, talents, & skills make enough money by themselves. we can sell what our abilities produce then sell the natural resources afterwards. & its not the U.S. keeping africa from african-americans its african-americans not being interested in africa in the 1st place. not interested in independence because our parents werent educated enough themselves.
What a joke: "Afrika cannot survive without those in the Diaspora". There much about Afrika we need to learn about. Talk about resources: e. g. Afrika has the biggest land space along the equator. Do you know what that means agriculturally? Blacks in USA need to get themselves more involved in official matters between the USA and Afrikan countries. The main policy of the USA wrt Africa is: Disrupt all communication between Blacks in the USA and Afrikans at home.
We need Real education. We need to study our history critically, for herein lies the understanding of our problems and solutions for the future. It demands a total commitment to Afrika (spiritually and physically). We need to study people like Garvey, Malcolm X, Nkrumah and also the crucial works of Drs. Cheikh Anta Diop, Clarke, Ben, Amos Wilson, Chancellor Williams, van Sertima, ...We seem to have forgotten when we were in charge of the state and the methods we used.

Marcus Garvey raped women and spread HIV to other Africans. Also, he was extremely racist against whites, latinos, and asians.

You are an idiotic bigot, when did Marcus Garvey ever comit rape for a start and was AIDS around before or after Marcus Garvey?
If you don't know something white boy, then I suggest you ignorantly keep your mouth out of things that you don't know anything about.

i would hope too (although i doubt it), that the person's accent is natural cause it certainly would be offensive to say the least.

DuBois is an idiot, because he felt he was the only one that could bring Africans together.
Marcus Garvey might've not gone to so-called Harvard, but at least he was for pan-Africanism since as a youth.
DuBois got inolved in pan-Africanism, because his so-called American Government neglected him.
