7,8,10 and 9 had the best storylines and the best gameplay in that order

hmmm i remember the time i can't get to fireburg so i leveled up in aquaria. I matched Reuben's level so when i fought this boss I only lost twice (I didn't have the moon helm and the life spell so i had to get it when i was in windia)

The coolest thing I liked about this game was that the enemy's sprite changed as you damaged them to show them getting beaten up.

I am doing a low level run through the entire game ATM. Right now I am trying to beat the Dualhead Hydra and it's quite challenging, especially since I don't even have White and most magic spells found in treasure chests because to do this I am avoiding every monsters in the game whenever possible. I might try to gain one more level now though, because the main character dies in one hit when the boss uses his fire attack

I know how fighting that boss on a low level run feels - I wrote a low level guide on GameFAQs. It took me many, MANY tries to beat him. You just have to get lucky and hope he doesn't use his fire attack. It seems that he uses it less often the more you damage him.

PAZUZU! God, his tower was probably one of my favorite levels. And he was my favorite boss to fight, he was always fun.

Dullahan is a hella hard boss, but one of my favorites. I plan on including a Dullahan-ish boss in my RPG Maker VX game, Sacred Stars.

When I was like 8 or 9 I brought this to my friend's house and his dad was so intrigued that he took over the SNES and made me stay for dinner and eventually spend the night so I could walk him through all 8 hours of the game by word of mouth.
