all loan mods are a fraud, I had emergency major surgery and lost my job but had $ in the bank I contacted my lender saying I can pay my mortgage for 4 months before I will face financial problems, they offered me a 5 month hardship deferment and sent back my payment, I waited 4 months to hear from them contacting them every month, I was then denied the hardship and put into foreclosure, I applied for a 2nd mortgage but was denied due to my recent credit , it's all bs I had to pay arears & fees
