And, really, if he was faking it, do you think he'd take it that far? Move in with her, get married? Get close to an innocent when he has so much at stake? I actually cried for about a minute, although I had an idea that something like this would happen. To begin with, I didn't like Rita so much because she was a really weak character, but she really developed into a happy, hopeful and devoted lover to Dexter throughout the last 3 seasons.

The other seasons have been mostly light-hearted, but since the Trinity Killer stepped in, I think the humor will be sparse...
