you talked about khmer singers. so i also talked about khmer singers.

2) elvis could never sing a khmer song in khmer, even if he understood & could pronounce all the words in the lyric, as piruous as samouth did. thus you cant compare singers of different cultures directly. (forget about michael jackson.)

4 the cambodians, samouth is greater than elvis.

btw, samouth & elvis were in their singing careers during about the same time period in history & 4 about the same length of time. samouth has more, 100s more, cambodian hits than elvis did english hits. besides, samouth wrote & sang duets with female singers, most of these duets are hits, while elvis never wrote or sang duets. these 2 aspects are another proof that samouth was more talented than elvis.

samouth 4 the cambodian soul is more sentimental more talented more entertainin' more caressin' than elvis is 4 the english-speakin' soul.

@pkving First of all, I don't think Master what's his face was trying to compare the two although they are comparable to each other. Second of all, the Khmer language may not be hodgepodge and shallow like English, but it is not a superior language. You do not need to sing duettes and to prove that you have talent.

heheh..... i have to say something about this. i dont think, elvis write his own song. he definitely have the look and the dancing part. he was very popular with girls but if you ask the guys, most of them will say they dont care about elvis. sinn sisamouth, he does everything.

- in about the same time period, samouth had 100s of cambodian hit songs, while elvis had only 4 or 5 of american hit songs,

- samouth sang lots of hit cambodian duets with female singers, while elvis virtually had no american duets with female singers,

- samouth had 4 or 5 humorous duets with cambodian male singers, while elvis had none with americam male singers.

thus samouth is greater than elvis.
