Great Post. I started buying Jazz Records everyweek in downtown Chicago around '56 when I started taking weekly drum lessons & don't remember seeing this album in Rose Records ever - or I would have bought it for $3.99! So it's quite rare & historic. From left to right its Nat, Byrd, Chambers, Silver, Cannonball with KC in the middle. Whose the white guy? Did he set up Kenny's drums for him?
@60otaku3 The picture shows us how much more informal & down home jazz was back then in the '50s. And I believe this is reflected in the high quality of the music Mr Cadena 'produced' that day. He looks very happy. It's a great recording session (high quality from all performers) & thanks for sharing it with the rest of the world via Youtube!
Just some obscure Savoy side from the mid-50s. Just incredible.
Again, THANK you for posting this material.

I know it's a matter of taste but the 3 people who don't like what did they want to hear Kenny G.

THANKS for posting this!
Best version of this tune ever recorded.
This is the real thing, daddy - o . . . . . from an era when Jazz was King, and musicians cared about the MUSIC, not the $.
I don't think I can rate this highly enough.
Superb ~

Thank you for the comment, adeduction-san!!
I think that the white guy is Oscar "Ozzie" Cadena which is a record producer of Savoy Records.
