I didnt really like the first few films cos it was all underground in that stupid lab....but i did like the last one "Extinction" cos it was outdoors and in a post apocalypse setting and it felt more like a zombie flick.
I wish they would of used Jill in the movie and end at the end like the RE5 storyline should of been. And they should used bugs and not the T-Virus. But I guess they are saving the bugs for a later storyline.

@chasetehmorning69 seriously that is something that I was not expecting. Umbrella didn't hold back this time considering all the combat helicopters they sent in. At first I was like ah its just six helicopters coming in and then as the view zoomed out the sky was littered with helicopters I was like damn there about to get screwed.
I already know what the movie is, I'll never EVER gonna see it or even download it illegally...it's THAT bad! There's no excuse for anything in the movie...
If you're a R.E. fan, I highly advise you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE.

2-HUNK Was first introduced in RE2, Hunk, stands for Human Unit Never Killed.
3-Tofu was first seen in RE2, He was a mistake, a glitch in the game the programmers thought was funny, and so they used to him to make the players laugh.
So yeah... I loved this film. But I also have accepted the difference between the film and the games
Love The Evil Dead Poster!!! YEAH MAN! Yeah, RE4 was okay. For some reason I saw it twice (once in 3-D & once in 2-D). The only thing that killed it was the sssllllooooooowwww motion!!! When Afterlife comes out on BD & DVD it is going to be in 2-D. The slow motion scenes look cool in 3-D, but in 2-D it is pointless.
2-D is okay though. If Resident Evil 6 comes out, they should make Alice a character so that people can STFU about it. I definitely want to see part 5 because of Jill Valentine!!
The 1st resident evil was great, the 2nd movie is beyond bad, the 3rd movie improved up to ok and from wat i am hearing from the 4th movie is just bad. Chase you know that they could make a great movie out of the first game. People think it would be them just going around the mansion. There are alot of things they could of done. I mean there are amazing monsters and scenes from RE1. Like the monster girl, sharks, running zombies and tyrant especially. George A Romero wrote a script. It was actually good but corny. He gets everything right except for what they say. I mean if Milla was gone from the series I could enjoy it.
There are some scenes from the RE movies that I liked but its just bad overall. You think Anderson would learn from his mistakes but he just seems to keep making them over and over. I dont think Anderson know how to end a movie, ya know? Plus I didnt like how Anderson just ripped scenes from other movies. Plus half of the movie was in slow mo. I think if the movie didnt have slow mo, It wold probably be less than an hour. Ohh and please dont say horror Chase. The movies arent scary.

Personally I didnt rate the movie at all. Plot = waste of time as nothing really achieved and the action was made poor by the slow motion. Dont waste your money seeing this at the cinema.... about £10 to see this is a ripoff even if it is in 3D effects. Movie 3/10 for me way too overhyped and dulled action scenes.

Its alot of fun, and when the action picks up, it really picks up. Everything from Alice getting to Alaska to breaking christ out is a little slow. Go in with an open mind and you will totally enjoy it.

@ur1man16 ya, the movie is an 8/10 for sure. it could have been ALOT better, but i still really enjoyed it and its better than the last movie. Im seeing it again today with my boyfriend. I cant wait.

im going to see it next week. i've stuck around with the films so far. This looks to be teh best resident evil yet. i've met paul anderson a couple of times, and milla also, and they are the nicest people. i'm tempted to spoil myself with the secret ending lol. but i cannot seriiously wait for this film in 3d. i was pissed off with all the other movies that claim it was in '3d' and it was just a 2d to 3d conversion. so ya paul anderson does great stuff with video game franchises.

@shinfield13 I think so. If you saw the previous 3 films, and enjoyed them. Yes! Its worth it. If you didnt like the past 3 films, you wont like this one.
Its alot of fun, and when the action picks up, it really picks up. Everything from Alice getting to Alaska to breaking christ out is a little slow. Go in with an open mind and you will totally enjoy it.
