I lived in P-Town for 2 years, and it has rescently been made known to me that at least 4 of the children I grew up with that lived in the former Pleasatnon Greens apartment complex on Vineyard have had similar yet separate sightings of ufo's in the creek that runs through the heart of town. The mystery just gets deeper I guess.
@stygeanhue Very interesting! If you read my comments on this video, you'll see that I'm convinced what I filmed was a man-made object, and not a UFO in the truest sense of the word.
I'd be interested in hearing more about your friends' sightings, though. Pleasanton seems like the kind of place where lots of weird stuff could happen out in the open and most folks wouldn't notice.
Cont: The below observation which happened on April 27th 6:20-6:30 pm pst 2011 resembled the "Nazi Bell" or the "Kecksburg Bell" but a silver exterior.Another interesting note that the UFO was like hovering and flying at a low speed near a road that is named Tesla road in which cloaked invisibility for second then back to being seen again..
On April 27th between 6:20-6:30 over looking the Livermore Valley towards the south over looking "Sycamore grove regional park heading east to west heading hiway 84 towards the GE nuclear plant ,a metallic or silver looking bell shaped object heading east to west about 30feet between and lower hill ridges flying about 5 miles per hour. It was not a balloon nor blimp due to prevailing winds and it was flying below radar of the area.No pictures taken.
I have seen a bell shaped ufo flying low altitude about march end of.It was flying below radar just north of Delvalle lake bewttn the livermore boarder and Pleasanton. it was not an airpalne nor blimp since it was below radar and heading toward the ge radiation plant.I havebeen seeing a lots of reports of low flying matalic bell shaped objects flying counter airstreams of the area.
@ObeeLektro Thank you for commenting! I don't know how much of a gem it is, though. All I've really done is add to the myriad blurry-light-at-night-UFO videos already on the Web. I really wish I'd had a better camera on me at the time, because I feel certain a higher resolution video would have confirmed my hunch that what I was filming was a man-made object, and not something extraordinary.
It's the blimp stationed at moffit field near AMES (NASA) station, I'm sure of that I had seen it to and I thought it was a UFO I work as a armed federal security at NASA Ames in mountain view ca, but we do see at of stuff there can't say any more than that.
well i used to live near the fairgrounds and nothing was going on then but i went outside for some reason, i really cant remember wut for but i saw 2 light floating then zoomed away. it was a wtf moment. i could prolly find out wut those lights r, my buddy has top secret clearence and i had secret back when i was in service so he could tell me wuts up
I'm pretty sure the thing in my video was some type of airplane or blimp with a giant LED display on it, used for advertising purposes. It appeared to be very slow-moving for the duration of my sighting, though such things are, of course, quite relative. If you saw something that "zoomed away" at a high rate of speed, I'm guessing it was something else. I'd sure be interested to know what your buddy has to say on the matter.
Yes, I'm pretty sure you can see this anywhere in livermore, probably in Pleasanton, Dublin. Some people in Tracy have posted some video of ufos also. I'm kinda near the 580 and I'm sure other people have to be witnessing this.
Wow! Can you send me a link to the Tracy videos? You should update the folks on AboveTopSecret about this. A wave of UFO sightings that is currently ongoing is very relevant, and -who knows- maybe we could get a reputable UFO investigator interested in checking the situation out?
hey early this morning my husband and I seen about 8 ufo's in the sky. it was about 2:30 am. and they hung around till the morning, i got some pretty cool video too. I have a feeling they'll be out there again at 2 or 3 am, if u have time u might want to check it out, its pretty cool.
Thanks for the info. One thing that I keep wondering about is the 3 pulsating star like objects that where lined up for awhile on August 13 in the early morning. I think there was a fire near the lab around that time.
I've watched all three of your videos, subscribed, and left a comment on your channel. Very interesting stuff. Have you ever checked out the UFO forums over at AboveTopSecret d0t c0m? That can be a really good place to let people know about your sightings and videos, because they'll ask a lot of good questions. Many of the folks there are quite knowledgeable about aviation and science, so you'll get some well-informed opinions as to what you might have seen and how to investigate the matter.
Nice catch, thanks for capturing this image. It looks quite similar to other orbs that have been reported all around the world. I know you wish you had more than your phone to record this but the main thing is you did capture this and were able to share your experience. =) Nicely done.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I do wish the camera had been better, though, 'cause this thing didn't literally look like an "orb," and that would have been more obvious if I'd had a better camera with me. Oh, well.
Wow, thank you so much! I checked your Twitter page, and I really appreciate what you said about my "excellent reporting!" I've never followed anybody on Twitter before, but thanks to you, that's about to change!
As previously mentioned, the thing appeared to possibly have FAA collision avoidance lights, though there was something a little off about their positioning and visibility. Airplane landing lights would not, however, account for the high strangeness of this thing's appearance. Also, there was no sound that I could hear. Whether propeller driven or jet-engined, one would think a plane flying that low would be audible, if not deafening.
Sound can be a strange thing. I've had C5-As go over and didn't even know it was coming until is was either above me or just passed. Depends on the path the sounds waves take I suppose. Strange appearance could be caused by bad focus.
The other thing about the camera is that with the one still image, I may have captured the 'lighting array' in an instant when many of its 'pixels' were off, something which would not have been readily apparent to the naked eye. Thus there's a discrepancy between the appearance of what I saw and what actually appears in the picture.
This is based on the notion that I may have been looking at some sort of sign which rapidly turned its lights on and off in sequence, so as to create a rudimentary animation effect.
Well if you read my previous comments, that news story I mentioned involving a UFO mystery in Roseville is still, in my opinion, the most likely explanation for this. It seems there's a company in Concord with an airplane for hire that displays brightly lit advertising messages in the night sky as it flies over populated areas, and their plane is often mistaken for something otherworldly.
As I said, there are, however, a few potential problems with this explanation:
* The thing I saw made absolutely no sound that I could hear, and nothing like the sound of an airplane's engine was recorded by my camera-phone. The lack of noise made me wonder if I might be looking at an advertising blimp, though I'd never seen one that looked quite like this. I'd like to find out whether the company in question owns and operates a blimp as well as an airplane.
* The object seemed to be flying awfully close the ground, at an altitude which is probably unsafe and against FAA regulations.
* The news item about the UFO mystery in Roseville concerned events which occurred a few days prior to my sighting. Another thing I should really look into is whether that company had anything in the air on the night in question.
* Along similar lines, I'd like to find out whether they would have been landing at the municipal airport in Livermore, which would be consistent with this object's West-to-East flight path. There is a similar airport in Concord, however, which would seem the more logical place from which a Concord-based company would take off and land.
Also, as previously mentioned, I saw what looked to me like FAA navigation lights, which, one would think, ought to be the surest sign that this aircraft was not one of extraordinary origin. However, the FAA lights dont seem to be present in the photo, at least not as I recall seeing them. Its possible that they were washed out or blurred by all the other lighting.
Towards the end of this video, at the 3:55 point, a close-up of the unaltered image is replaced by one in which Ive played with the levels and used Photoshops high pass filter, among others, in an attempt to tease out whatever further detail or larger pattern might have possibly remained hidden in the raw image.
This does seem to reveal some hint of a red FAA light on the lower part of the object, which is odd, because I distinctly remember at the very least seeing what looked like a green navigational light. This makes sense, because a normal aircraft, moving across my field of vision from left to right, as this one was, would presumably be seen in profile from my vantage point and would therefore be showing me its green, starboard-mounted light, which I do remember seeing. So far, so good.
The thing is, I think -but Im not certain- I also saw a red light that seemed to belong to the same array or subsystem. If this were a navigational light, and I was, in fact, viewing this craft in profile, the red light should have been mounted on the port side, facing away from me and not visible from my perspective.
Also worth noting is the fact that the mere appearance of a craft having navigational or collision-avoidance lights doesnt necessarily prove that its conventional.
UFO witnesses and experiencers have in some cases described anomalous aircraft that employed varying degrees of camouflage or disguise in order to pass for unremarkable fixed-wing or rotor craft. Videos from South and Central America, and especially Mexico, have frequently depicted what appear to be strange objects morphing into helicopter or airplane shapes, sometimes transitioning back and forth between those shapes and their alternate, saucer, cigar, or disc shapes.
Some of these videos can probably be attributed to people misunderstanding or misrepresenting the effect that a camcorders auto-focus feature can have on the appearance of a distant, moving object as it struggles to continually bring said object back into focus.
There are, however, other accounts of possibly different cloaking methods.
Whitley Strieber, once described watching an airplane flying slowly through the air, with propellers that simply werent spinning fast enough to generate the lift necessary to keep the plane from stalling and plummeting to the ground. Striebers sense was that he was watching a UFO which was sort of dressed up with fake airplane structures so that it would tend to be overlooked by anybody just catching a brief glimpse of it.
So, if the makers of unusual aircraft have been motivated enough to equip their vehicles with anything from faux engines and propellers to some type of exotic technology that either radically changes the crafts shape while in flight or creates the illusion of such, then it stands to reason that some of these machines at some point might for various reasons be equipped with vaguely authentic, -or even genuine- FAA navigation and collision avoidance lighting systems.
Im a little pressed for time, so I have to wrap this up for the moment. Again, please check back with me here very soon, as Ive not even touched on the subject of what I believe is the most likely (though far from perfect), conventional explanation for what my friend and I witnessed. That part of the discussion is coming soon.
Thank you for your interest so far, and do stay tuned...
I'm back. Before I continue, let me just say the following to anybody who may have noticed a shocking lack of apostrophes in the preceding text: Please let me assure you that I am NOT A MORON! All of my preceding comments had apostrophes where appropriate, never misplaced due to any confusion about possessive vs. plural nouns. The apostrophes were there in AppleWorks, yet somehow disappeared while being copied and pasted into these YouTube comment fields.
So I'm way too fatigued to properly expound on the subject, but please Google the term, 'Roseville ufo mystery solved' for one likely solution to my little aerial puzzle. Roseville is nowhere near Pleasanton, but the company whose plane caused the commotion is located in Concord, just 28 miles from Pleasanton, & they probably use Concord's Buchanan Air Field or the nearby Livermore Municipal Airport as their base of operations.
There are, however, several potential problems with this explanation. Hold that thought while I get a little sleep. When I return, be prepared for me to play Devil's Advocate as I simultaneously report on and attempt to debunk this here UFO sighting...

Well the saucer ships or Foo ship do go slow these days.
But a strange thing connects Atomic Plant locations and Tesla.
This Foo thing being a Tesla ship of course.
The Tesla Tower on Long Island now has a nearby Atomic plant.
Tesla at Los Alamos and now did Tesla have a North West operation.
Wherever Tesla went Atomic energy was sure to follow.
His coils were atom smashers and the local studies became experts.

You should move the camera around more when you're filming, that's REALLY helpful.
My guess is airplane landing lights. These kind of videos never impress me. Blobs of light are useless.
