Bottom line is no matter which way you do this glitch, it takes over an hour for 20,000 orbs. I'm curious how many I have to get to be completely sure I max out. I've gotten every red chest so far, and I'm on Titan. Like I said, I imagine in this situation, it takes about 20,000 orbs at least at this glitch.

You said you're doing this after you get the whip? I'm doing this before even talking to Aphrodite, let alone Hephaestos and the whip. Maybe that's why you got 300 per run and I'm getting 200? Maybe it changes. I tried doing it after talking to Aphrodite, but the door wouldn't open. Maybe I'll go get the whip and then do this, maybe I get 300. Would save me a lot of time. I'll go try it now.

OK I can confirm it made no difference, and it works your way as well, but only 200 orbs, not 300 like you were getting. Guess they did nerf it. Anyways, it's best to do it before you even talk to Aphrodite for the first time, as you can save yourself tapping circle to open the door.

Scratch what I said about doing it before you talk to Aphrodite. Equip the whip and then use the right stick! I used a stopwatch and can say that this turns a 40 second run into about a 32 second run, which is better than like the 38 seconds it takes when you do it before you talk to Aphro. And if it wasn't for turning and such, you could do it even faster, as by my calculations, it's 70% faster than running normal.

guys I have troubles with the "Souled Out" trophy, Ive been summoning all them for ages but the trophy doesnt pop up!

I only need Souled out and Maxed Out trophies.

@mvlelletje the only thing I can think of is if you activiated any of your godly possesions (zeus eagle, hades helmet, etc) it disables your trophies even if you turn them off later in the game

I get 150, and I'm currently at 44 out of the estimated 87 attempts (last est. way off) required to max out during this current run (I'm an old man so doing this all @ once it out of the ??). This should be at least a Gold...such time and effort is not worthy of a Silver. lol
