nope! what firmware are you using? im using 3.03oec custom firmware and it lets me take videos until my memstik is full (4 gigz btw). Previous firmwares only lets you record up to 15 seconds.
mines here! but i have a question for u man....does your psp say "The recording has stopped. A recording delay has occured." cuz mine keeps doing that sometimes.

nope! you dont need one to take pics and vids. All you need is a memstik and your all set.
