This is what all Catholics should aim for, to live through example and emanate Christ. I thank you for your words, as a Catholic who face all the negative things about the Church everyday, hearing your words said about our great Pope served as a strength to us who wanted to live and die for God. Viva la Papa! He has managed to open the gates to God through his witnessing!

He conquered me by his example of extraordinary spiritual strength. He endured horrible pain throughout his last years, sometimes so weak he would not be able to read, as he struggled for breath. That is when I became so touched that I realised there had not been a man like that in our history of mankind. When you added to that the beauty of his words, then you could nothing but love him. He was admired even by atheists.

@dontaskmewho There was another man with this extraordinary spiritual strength and who endured so much incredible pain on our behalf. JPII gained his strength to live and breathe from the holy Spirit of that man Jesus of Nazareth.
