You know I think you may be on to something there. So often I talk to people who prefer this or that artist or group that's way inferior to DT and either don't get DT or have never heard of them. Simply because they're listeners and not players too. Too many people only like what's mainstream or popular and quite often what's popular is inferior trash with no heart. 2:10+ is definitely an Opeth ripoff, and coincidentally, they are going to be touring together. I'm not complaining though, Opeth is one of my top five favorites; number one being DT, of course. There is a lot of Opeth influence in Systematic Chaos, especially on "Repentance" which actually has Mikael Akerfeldt speaking dialogue.
