Wow, the 1960's, whan music was real. The Begees and most band of that era are trully talented, with masterful skills on their instrument and mostly write the lyrics and compose their tune. Some people today believe the Jonas brothers are better than the Begees but boy they aren't close. Though only two are still alive, the Begees stil lives in our minds, the Jonas are fading this early.

It takes me back to one early morning in 6th form days in boarding school. I was in bed half asleep / half awake when this heavenly music floated down from someone's transistor radio. I awoke gently with it. Even today it still brings me a moment of peace that makes the body feels fresh and alive. Wonderful.

my uncles were fans of the beegees and though we never saw this on tv some of the magazines showed a 4th guy. Now there are 5 in here and my recollection as a kid in the late 60's is blurred by the passage of time.

Why the hell is everyone saying this is amazing?! It's NOT. They can sing well and what not, but it's irritating, boring, and dorky. To be honest, though, this is only like the second song by the Bee Gees I've heard (the other being Staying Alive obviously), so I won't judge them in general (maybe they have better stuff? who knows...) but this is just crap.

They were members of the band from 1967 to 1969. The blond dude on the drums is Colin Petersen and the other guy on guitar is Vince Melouney. They were both friends from Australia.

Vince quit the band at the end of 1968 because he felt that his style of guitar playing was not right for the band as he was a big blues fan but the Bee Gees were more into ballads. Colin was fired in 1969 during the filming of Cucumber Castle.
