I really never cared less about this show, but I liked it because Eddie Albert was a bona-fied certified war hero, In case you don't know, this guy participated in the WWII invasion of the island of Tarawa and he commanded a landing craft. His duty was to take troops into shore and bring out the wounded. He made repeated trips into the beach under heavy fire, taking out, and saving many wounded Marines. Marines saw him non nonchalantly picking up Marines out of the water, bullets all around him
