  • The capitol is run by Wall Street moguls, the government..... The right they speak of is right to protest, right to free speech. These rights loved ones served in the armed forces to uphold..... Come on people their purpose is FOR u , for the masses, against the tycoons who influence our government

  • I CLICKED DISLIKE BECAUSE:

    A) OVERBITE IS CRAZY

    B) THE DEMONSTRATERS ARE DUMB

    C) THE WHOLE THING IS A NAUSIATING WASTE OF TIME BY IDIOTS, WITH NO CLUE

  • @SuperIntelligentguy Absolutely agree there.

Marxist rally-disguised as a moral injustice uprising-based on lies...End of story...moving on to real news.

  • @SuperIntelligentguy Say that bullshit again, without sounding like an asshole. And then say it one more time after you lose your home.

  • @SuperIntelligentguy A) the demonstrators are not dumb. Some of them possibly among the most enlightened in the country B) Lets see some pictures of yourself before you can justify pointing out someone else's physical flaws. C) This protest is possibly the best thing since alternative media.

  • The protesters love to claim they "the 99%". It's half-true; it's a sure bet,that 99% of them are from middle-upper class,trust fund twats,etc.

Truth be told,if they achieve the very "revolution" they claim they want, the "redistribution of wealth" that will happen,is these twats end up with EVEN MORE MONEY - AND POWER - THAN BEFORE! And the true Poor / Working Classes will end up EVEN POORER THAN BEFORE!!!! THAT'S THEIR TRUE PLAN!!!!

  • When did education become a human right? I suppose we also have a human right to transportation, health care, single family housing, retirement, food, clothing, energy, friends, and beer money. Where does the insanity stop? We in the US have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's all! When did these things cease to be self evident?

  • 12 wallstreet employees have youtube accounts...

    Also, don't like this, please...

    its fucking annoying.

  • No body I know gives a shit, you dumb ass reporter. You act like you or a player and you don't game well.

  • Who is this moron reporter?

  • Now wait a minute... all of this is bad and such..... but who allowed these corporations to get away with all of this? Oh yea... the federal government. Maybe they should be occupying the Capitol instead.

  • What the hell does Keith Olbermann know about what the protesters want? He's a millionaire

  • He is more free to speak now because he is not in the networks any more......

    Ha Ha

  • It's called a REPUBLIC Olberman, get it right noob.

  • Luv'n it !! Let's go!!!!!!!!

  • First of all, the US MSM is atleast a week behind the wall street protests. Second, this is exactly what the people they are protesting against want, a reason to declare martial law (and they will, soon). This will solve nothing. America is standing up, too late. These protesters are just making themselves easy targets. If change is what they really want, then they should follow DBSOMMERS1 advice. Stop feeding them. Simple as that. Anything else is a waste.

  • You want to stop corporations: stop giving them money, the blood on which they feed. Deal exclusively with small business owners, or better yet, make everything yourself, like our ancestors did before evil corporations existed. Personal empowerment!

  • Love Keith!! Please support the petition to put an end to NYPD savagery: google

    change.org petitions nyc-mayor-stop-brutality-by-nypd-officers-on-wall-st-establish-accountability

  • as much as I would like to be there I can't.. but I also have little hope of anything coming of this..the elite that own this country will not let it be taken away.. they bought it from under everyone's noses...the collaborators in congress, the white house, right wing "grass roots" organization and a million others that work their devious schemes to usurp the system have succeeded..they will hold on to power by election fraud seeing is believing

  • It's all true, this may be the fall of capitalism!!!

  • Awesome.

Let's encourage All who help get the word out and not buy into any divisive BS.

  • THE SIDE BAR FOR THIS VIDEO SAYS '10' VIEWS. ACTUAL VIEWS...3822. WTF?

  • It's not JUST corporations...

DONT FORGET Banksters and Corrupt Government. It takes 2 to tango.

  • @WoodlandRavah Thank You! It is of the utmost importance that this not be forgotten. Corporations have bought the government, but the government is now populated with corporatist robots. Both problems must be solved.

  • We must OCCUPY the USA!

  • Take back your LOST freedom

  • That $250 trillion figure is at the US Comptroller Office.

  • The root of much of these problems lies in the structure (and strategy) of the Central Banking System. $250 Trillion in derivatives are outstanding on 5 of the largest financial institutions. Most these bank mafia's have strong ties to Banking families in Europe. Many people liken these people/families to parasites that suck their hosts dry, before moving on. Currently, they are finishing off the host. You cannot build wealth by DEBT. They create money by creating debt for all of us.

  • Rumors flying that the Occupation is being co-opted by left wing Obama supporters. No doubt this may be so, but there are plenty of people that are there for sincere purposes without trying to push their political agenda. We need to keep supporting them. The co-opters always do this, but many people are exposing them, such as "moveon.org" which in my opinion is a terrible organization that supports Obama no matter how low he stoops.

  • JP Morgan recently "donated" $4.6 million to the NY Police department. So the police department is now working for Jaime Dimon.

I can't put the link in, so Google:

"It’s True: JP Morgan Gave $4.6 Million to New York Police To Increase Security"

  • @americanpend yet jamie dimon donate 40 mil$ to the group help arm the cops

  • All I know is certain PEOPLE need to DIE in this country for us to CHANGE and move on. This will get violent whether people want it to or not so be prepared for a blood bath in coming years down the road.

  • I have a shrine to Keith Olberman. No. Rly I do.

  • @HFUstoreit1

    why he's an uneducated libtard.

  • Excellent report.

  • What’s this shit about Dumbocracy? Republic, Republic, Republic, Republic... Constitutional Republic... democratic Republic.

  • Olbermann is awesome.

  • Can you all please stop being infomercials for Ron Paul. You all are fucking out of your mind obsessed. You don't even realize he can't do ant of the shit he says if president not even by executive order. He cannot shut down the fed. Only congress can do so. Obama signed exec order 1st day to close gitmo and congress shot him down. It's not about 1 fucking person. That is not how it works.

  • @splicedenergy He is more of the guy who will/can deliver what the people want. You are looking at it from another angle is all. There is a movement that is underway. It is growing and people are fed up with all the greed and lack of freedoms, political prisoners.. the whole corrupt system both monetary system and government in general.

  • @ApolloPowderCoating He can't do it. No president can. It'll take many presidents in succession to work the system to undo what's been done. There is a problem I have with his fucking asinine son. Apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

  • @ApolloPowderCoating Plus he's for privatization of police, firefighters, public schools, all safty nets and he's a creationist from Texas. Texas is the most fucked in the head that people come from. Don't know why but it's always Texas doing crazy unrealistic fundie things and are major stupid for the most part.

  • @splicedenergy Just like to say I'm a native born Texan. I'm also an Atheist, and a progressive, and a humanist. We all aren't fundie fucktards, but I will apologize for Rick Perry, W., and their ilk.

  • @dmwalker24 I know that, the Atheist Experience is broadcasted from Texas. But you know it's few and far between.

  • @splicedenergy And I love me some Atheist Experience too. Yes it is few and far between. I've taken to posting horribly immoral verses from the bible on Facebook to counter the constant flood of prayer requests and rants about intelligent design and "under God" in the pledge.

  • @dmwalker24 I stuck to the same thing for awhile. Now that republican domionists who are stupid enough they mught as well be running around with their heads chopped off and remind them separation was intended. It's unambiguous. This is not a christian nation never was ever. Lastly that our ff's were deists not theists, liberal by every meaning of the word and 1 agnostic atheist who wrote 2 books supporting his feelings and possibly Ben Franklin as well. The Treaty of Tripoli cannot be clearer.

  • JP Morgan recently donated MILLIONS of dollars to the NYPD.

    Conflict of interest, anyone?

  • what happen to Olbermann? the dick turned out OK at least on this one news media

  • People NEED to research Ron Paul more. They have all that damn internet access, but then only want to listen to the MSM. These protests are the reason Ron Paul is a threat and why the MSM wants to smear him. Protesters: THERE IS NO BETTER CANDIDATE.

    Ron Paul 2012.

  • @wonderming1 I know Ron is real because of the way the corporate media treats him compared to the other candidates.

  • For all of those people who keep saying to vote Ron Paul.I can not and will not vote for Ron Paul because of his goddamn fucking slimey, dishonest son who is the senator for the state of Kentucky where I live.I hope this sack of shit gets thrown out on his face in the next election.Fuck you rand paul(lower case denotes lack of respect).

  • @BANANADAIQURI Can you be more specific than name calling? And then tell me why what Rand does has anything to do with Ron? I have family members who are nothing like me. Please be polite I am asking a sincere question not trying to start an argument. Thanks.

  • These protesters should vote for Ron Paul and shut up.

  • @margul Ron Paul will be shot dead before he try's to enact any of his policy's. Violent revolution is the only solution to the prison-industrial complex.

  • @margul does the US constitution say you need to shut up?

  • The reason Occupy Wall Strret has Worked is specifically that it has not been put in a box by suggesting there is one reason. Thats why Lamestream media has now actually started reporting on it , to try and dispurse it by putting it in a box. The people protesting are the 99%. You cant get 99% of people to agree on anything.People realize that the news is Propaganda. That Everything has been a Lie. Corruption is out of control and is the norm. That the wars are Illegal. That 99% are UnHappy!

  • The system is broken. Obama has done few of the things he said he was going to do and things don't look like they're gonna get better. How about getting an honest, reliable, committed guy in office? How about Ron Paul for 2012, cause like it or not, I'm convinced all the others (Dems & Reps) are like a reality show, shifting favors around. Fuckin BS!!

    Ron Paul 2012...stop the insanity!

  • We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

  • olbermann is one of the last true journalists left and thank goodness we still have a few like him

  • I dream of a future where this statement is held in similar awe/respect as the declaration of independence....because that's really what it is.

  • It looks to me thatall those sellout mediaproducers are throwing their ears back now to escape justice. Fuck em all, even though I like Olberman.

  • Koch brothers are sending in trouble makers.

  • Its a waste of energy...soon the planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas. Better idea is to occupy Burbon St. and party down

  • Goosebumps!

    Love & Light Humanity!

    Take back your freedom!!!

  • Keith Olbermann sure does have his moments!

  • I hope for a revolution. What happens in the U.S. will send positive ripples around the world. Peace & love.. .

  • I agree with all of these, but they may be a bit too many things lol

Thin out the points just a little. Take it in steps. Get more support early on. Sadly some people will see one issue they dont care about and ignore the rest.

or maybe thats just a persons ecuse to not stand up and fight for a better life or to say their life is just good enough.

  • This sounds really awesome.

Earlier today, when I looked at the newspaper headline (roughly translated) "The US's left, rises up", I was shocked:

    "The US has a left!?"

(...and no, the Democrats aren't left wing. Not by European standards. They are right wing, and the Republicans are extremely right wing)

  • @ZarlanTheGreen Huh?

This isnt about democrat or republican, so I dont get your point in mentioning that, not the protesters nor the title mentioned that.

The US does have a left, we just dont get representation. Even when you ask independents and many so called conservatives directly on the issues with no sense of party inference, you get them wanting what are considered left spectrum items.

As for if the protests are simply from the left. I guess so, but I would think many conservatives ...

  • @ZarlanTheGreen and indepedents would agree with the anti-corporatism and anti-bought gov message, so they need to get over their partisanship and step up.

This isnt a movement with a leader of any one side, they are trying to stay focused on a message thats all inclusive, which is those 2 things above, how can everybody in america not agree and stand up.

Its not a left-right message. Americans are so pathetic.

We have a march planned in Dallas, I sure hope I can find a way to be there.

  • @waltermh111 "Its not a left-right message."

I disagree, but either way, that doesn't change what the headline for the newspaper article was.

Either way, I hope that the protest is successful. It'd be nice with a less crazy US.

  • @ZarlanTheGreen I know that fascism is a right spectrum belief, but thats far right, dont most US conservatives say they are against corporatism? or at least crony capitalism?

Some of the points made were liberal, but most should be able to be agreed upon by both sides

But ok, whatever. I just think this is a time to set aside a few differences to focus on the major things that we do agree on

I hope it works out and continues to grow. If they can last, I wont stop hoping

  • @ZarlanTheGreen I disagree that it's a left wing message" This is the "We have all had it up to here, enough is enough" Not everything is political

  • Fucking awesome.

  • Cut foreign aid, end the Feds, bring the troops home, mind our own business, and defend our Constitution! Our allegiance should be to the USA not to the UN, NATO or AIPAC! Vote for Ron Paul...

  • "First we'll take Manhattan, then we'll take Berlin." Mr. Leonard Cohen

  • Well said!

    MICAH THE GUARDIAN!

  • Wallstreet, whether directly or indirectly, runs the news, owns the cops, influences (if not runs) the govt. If they wanted everyone dead on wallstreet camping there I'm sure they would do it if it truely threatened them. Money is an powerfully evil tool that we give too much credit to. Its freaking paper. There is a way around money that would drive technology, feed the poor, and save all the worlds inhabitants. But greed and competition keeps you from seeing this truth.

  • Wallstreet and stock trading IS the reason for economic decline. It was a stupid idea when it was created. I applaude the protestors but the news has got it all wrong. Its not about race, age, gender but about people sticking up for people. There's so much dependance on the system though that most will hurt if wallstreet came down...though I'm sure it won't. Wallstreet is huge and run by the richest people in the world, you think they are just gonna stop?? They own the system

  • Remember, it is Okay for Keith who works for Al Gore to praise the protest, has he presented the libertarians who occupy together as well? Fox disparages the protest as it fits their agenda, and the political division of the country maintained—i.e., the status quo. Don't let the media hijack this protest, here on YouTube, you can clearly see that both the left and the right are in this together, don't let them dupe you into political charades. Thumbs up to inform everyone.

  • @Otzmatron yes both r there.. but youre missing the picture and so r those people! the left wants to destroy capitalism and wall street.. the other side thats there wants to stop the corruption and crony capitalism.. but whats to happen if they succeed in bringing the system down? well then itll be right and left fighting again... look at the bigger picture people..

  • @hooseyadaddy No, that is how they portray it. You don't want to sink into anarchism, but change the SYSTEM, not take it down, REFORM it. The brain is dysfunctional, it needs surgery. watch?v=yjdpKmr7yRc

  • @Otzmatron do u know the people that r pushing this? Van Jones, Frances Fox Piven, Cornel West... etc..those r the people that will change the system for the worse if they succeed...

  • @Otzmatron I disagree with the right on practically everything, but we can all agree that the corporate greed has to stop. People are the wealth of our society. We all stand together and we will not be stopped. Those in the 1% should really start considering their options. They can flee, or they can beg forgiveness and relinquish control of our world immediately. Either way, the party is over. We're taking it back. We are legion. We are the 99%.

  • @Otzmatron

I don't see how you can fully support this protest from a right-wing perspective. If we are talking economics, right wing means massive deregulation and completely free markets, the same shit that got us in this mess (corporations getting the same rights as people etc.) and the same stuff people are protesting against.

As for social right and left, well, this hardly seems authoritarian and if you are socially right (authoritarian) you are an asshole anyway.

  • @Otzmatron

How can an economic libertarian support the fact that these people are protesting against the massive deregulation that allowed companies to poison food etc.? The only libertarian that could fully support this protest either someone who is just a civil libertarian, or libertarian socialists etc.

  • @Otzmatron So true. I even saw a fox clip where they were trying to play the populist card, interviewing Michael Moore and pretending like they were the only network with "the guts to cover the protest." What a crock of shit...

  • Thank You !

  • what a great summary, right on the money!

  • half these idiots dont even know what theyre protesting against and over half r liberal commies that want total destruction of the system.. sorry, no thanks.. lets just end corruption.. u people are missing the big picture. Yeah! tear down wallstreet! Well, what r u gonna replace it with? These people arent united on a common goal. some want to end corruption but keep the system, some want communism.. well which is it? liberals love this stuff cause they want revolution... in the end u lose!

  • @hooseyadaddy um can you direct me to one comment that says they want communism? FAIL

  • @BambooScar you fail.. have you even seen what they say? Watched any videos? Guess whos a big leader and supporter? Van Jones.. U know who he is? I doubt it.. Or Cornel West? Francid Fox Piven?

  • Again, the magic YT VIEW COUNT, 300 TO 309. WTF. WE KNOW ITS 10 TIMES AS MUCH! PAY ATTENTION TO THE VIEW COUNTS ON OCCUPY WS VIDEO'S. ALL FALL WITHIN THIS RANGE REGARDLESS OF 'LIKES OR DISLIKES.

  • Anyone know for sure if pepper (capcasin) is what NYPD is using? That has become a generic term for stuff that could also have CS and CN tear gas. Legal for civlians in Texas and would have thought it was pepper spray if I had not read the smaller print. The 3 together is some serious shit.

  • Keith, you sure have not lost your way with words. Keep up the good work. It's a worthy cause.

  • I am so happy and relieved to see america waking up !!!! Yay....... we're back!!!! :D

  • I love you keith

  • I dont often side with Olberman, but he and just about everyone else...IS WITH THE PROTESTERS....as they represent the truth.

As Dylan Ratigan said, if we can agree on "GET THE MONEY" out of politics...we can debate and fix the rest. (Course I will argue we need way less government, while Olberman and others will argue we need more government)

lets make sure THE REAL DEBATE TAKES PLACE. its WE THE PEOPLE, not the elite. there is still hope.

  • we elect them, they serve us...time to remind them all of that! Stand together and take back your future...they already stole the past.

Police need to turn their guns around - off the people who they serve! And at the real criminals..it's Not free the people but Take your freedom people! This is it...it's all in vain only if the rest of you don't walk out the door and say Enough

  • That's IT in a nutshell! Well said, well spoken... now how do we ensure that these demands are met?

  • This has got to be one of the best written documents and enfatically read by Keith Oberman. If only he believed it and was a part of it. In essence, the New Declaration of Independance. Lets hope it is not sequestered like the tea party was. When you have politicians make public statements and support the movement to remain in power. The corperate madness must stop voluntarily, or there will be madness in the form of revolution. Its time to take back the power.

  • Comment removed

  • TALKS CHEAP!!! Get er done.

  • What if everyone got together, like the whole other 98% and stopped paying all their bills all at once in protest. At least until all the issues that you have mentioned started to get dealt with in an honest manner. In what possible shade of any gray can most of the issues Keith mentioned not be held in the light and seen as extremely detrimental to society. We all know they are there, and we are seeing the results of this dishonest governing system. It's time the 98% got together for impact.

  • @tossinmountains No we still want people to pay taxes. What would be good though is if everyone took their money out of the banks at the same time.

  • @tossinmountains Protest like that is so hard to do.

Power plants are mostly private entity.

You dont pay the bill for power you dont get water in the house, nor AC/Heater.

You cant march to the facility and run it yourself.

Will you live 2 months like your back in a cave to make the point? Because private business will wait it out, and banks will work with them knowing what the consequence of backing down is. This is a cutthroat world for the sociopaths in private business.

  • I'll bet the Tea Party people couldn't produce such an articulate statement.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrYadakun I bet the Tea party people couldn't walk down the street with out drooling on them self.

  • Keith Pwned MSM scum!

  • Articulated very well.

  • I have to say, if we want the right to understand this better, we need to dumb down the terms >.<

  • @MrNeorek

Dumbing things down only helps what we should be fighting against.

  • I think the NYPD will eventually start killing the protestors.... ...people were killed at Kent State, Ohio 1960s.

  • @Born2Flesh

    May 1970

  • @Born2Flesh That's why they wrote the 2nd Amendment.

  • Dumb fat mama feeding dogs and cats in wood while her little children are starving for everything at home.

(America nation building in Afghanistan Iraq, aid to Israhel, Pakistan and list gos on and on)

Feel sick in my stomach the way my country is run.

  • It's growing in numbers daily

  • Fukkin A Keith!!! :)

  • one of these days soon the police will attack the wrong crowd..

  • @Dewdaahman or they will join it!!

  • @northwestblazinfire even better..

  • Awesome. This is just the beginning.

  • well said Sir..

  • Is it possible that now Keith has broken free of the MSMs shackles he has woken up? Is Keith turning into a.....a........*gulp*... good guy?

  • @crinoid1919 Here's the funny thing, he's been saying the same thing he always has been saying.

  • @Tripp393 I have watched Keith for years....since his ESPN days.... and I have noticed that he isnt to red hot on the "Democratic" side of the isle latley. I think he is begining to see that there is no differance between the two parties and they both work for the FED and Wall St.

  • @crinoid1919 Bingo.

  • @crinoid1919

A HUGE part of that is because he no longer works for General Electronic. Keep in mind, Cenk left the MSNBC because they wanted to control what he said. I remember when Ray McGovern challenged Rumsfeld publicly in Atlanta in front of the entire media on the WMD's, a high level executive at CNN called him afterwards and said something like "Don't you fear for your life?" It shows how controlled, Fox, NBC, CNN, etc are controlled by what they can say cause of Operation Mockingbird.

  • Pretty soon we'll all be 'terrorists' then nobody will be laughing or cheering about what just happened to Alawki.

  • Keith hates the rich! Keith Olbermann’s salary at Current TV is $10 million per year. Notice how he never leaves the desk or has anyone with an oposing view point on his show? Keep waiting for that footage there Keith

  • That was a hell of a speech THANK YOU...!

  • All the crap Olberman just mentioned pales in comparison to what government has done.

  • You cannot end corporate welfare without ending social welfare.

  • Teabaggers will be very, very angry with these liberal demands.

  • amazing.

  • Thank you, Mr. Olbermann, that sums it up; if someone could send this declaration to Erin, seriously..?

  • "The for-profits stagnation of humanity:

Agricultural corporations don't care if you are well nourished.

Pharmaceutical corporations don't want you to be healthy.

... Financial institutions don't want you to be wealthy.

The Military-Industrial-Complex doesn't fight for peace.

... Oil corporations do not want you to have sustainable energy.

Governments do not want you to be educated.

    Why?

    Greed."

  • @Shelbzism Greed IS the system. The question that should be asked...Is greed an unavoidable part of our nature? I say NO! Change the system, or rather exchange it for one of sustainable equality for all and you will eliminate greed as well.

  • @Shelbzism well put up. :)

  • Ye thats right blame the corporations the government had nothing to do with it........nope nothing..........nothing at all............

  • Fuck, why is Olbermann OWS' greatest ally in the mainstream media? This guy is the left-wing O'Reilly.

  • KEITH OLBERMANN - I SALUTE YOU!!

NOBODY COULD HAVE READ THAT BETTER !!!

EVERYBODY COME TOGETHER AND FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!!

  • Hannity watched this

  • @FuckYourHolocost ...or if just one trigger-happy cop shoots someone on his own.

  • Totally enjoy the writerS!

  • The protesters would be more effective if instead of putting on a freakshow they would stop BUYING the products traded on Wall St.

  • @wolfengheist the general public do not buy products traded on Wall st..

And you try and get a Mass to stop consuming anyway...very tuff

  • What? Wait a minute. Apple, Microsoft, and Starbucks aren't traded on Wall St? lol

"And you try and get a Mass to stop consuming anyway..."

Well that's the problem. The liberals who are crying about Wall St are the same people supporting. So who's the real enemy?

  • @terrorbackdoor Ever bought a Coke? We ALL buy the producst of the companies whose shares are traded on Wall St. And the best way to exert our power is to use discretion in whether or not we choose to continue doing so.

  • Good place to start;

Make all Fortune 500 patents public domain. and ban Fortune 500 patent filings for 10 years
