You empty it into a large steel pot and carry it outside to a grease tank. You don't sit around for three hours after the kitchen closes waiting for the grease to cool.

Ok, accidents do exist. Maybe not in the scenarios they use in these ads, but a little over %50 of cases are genuine accidents. My family, including myself has worked in restaurants for a little over twenty five years now, and indeed, things like this do happen due to people being irresponsible. However, they went a bit heavy on the makeup. I can say to a certain degree that yes, oil burns do indeed hurt like absolute hell, but I think the cases are very rare where they cause that much damage.
