But yeah...Susan Dey and David had an enviable chemistry; they were so young and seemed so carefree and to really enjoy each other. I always marvel at how much affection they had for each other.
Hi - had to post again. This is really a beautiful compilation - pictures and song. Thank you.
Where is that interview of David from? This is Sue (his wife) singing with him, isn't it? They sound incredible together. I'm so jealous. LOL! David is such a an amazingly skilled singer, and his harmonizing is some of the best I've ever heard. I love, love his voice. Sue is a great singer too. I wonder why she didn't record more.
It is a puzzle to me that he says he loved her as a sister, but he seems like he was A LOT more affectionate with her than a real brother would be. But, he does seem to be a very affectionate person so what do I know? I believe him when he says he loves her. It's unfortunate they parted ways the way they did. It's very disconcerting to know that 4 years of great friendship can be so quickly and completely over because of a misunderstanding or one event.

Oh please, give me a break. It's obvious the only person Cassidy ever loved is himself. He is the biggest ponse I've ever laid eyes on. I can't believe I actually liked this little twirp in the seventies. But then I was only a kid at the time, I think Susan had a lucky escape.
Can you just imagine working so close with a man you love and made love with then never have a future with him. He has sex with you without thinking twice about your feelings! I think Susan Dey is a strong lady to overcome that heartbreaking time and move on. David Cassidy was so blind, and if he has any regrets in life then I think his heart should hurt forever for treating Susan Dey like a 70's mindless groupie. I hope David Cassidy cherishes his wife. (She doesn't look slutty to me.)
Wonderful song, wonderful pics! I think we all have that 1 person out there that we either let slip away from us or perhaps met at the wrong time. NO that is NOT Susan Dey singing, but certainly would have been more romantic if it was her. In David Cassidy's first book, he said something about finding the slutty side of women attractive and Susan was just too sweet and innocent although he did have sex with her,a one night stand, after she told him that she was in love with him when TPF ended.
Bless you David, and you Susan...

Too young....too much exposure. Cassidy had access to many, many girls.

In the song, does anyone know if that is actually Susan singing with David?

David Cassidy's wife Sue Shifrin co-wrote this song. If I were a betting man, I'd say she is the one singing.
