May I say, based on this trailer: 'Dont Re-Make ...Re-Do!'? ...As in I believe that if this trailer was re-released in the cinema it might have got more customers than the remake did? this movie was too much of a happy-go-lucky version of the book. the new one depicted the toughness of it a lot better. also, the book takes place in the Arkansas/Oklahoma territory, in the old movie you could easily tell that is neither.
