Miles doesnt advocate for any party, he was invited to pray for the nation, not the party. Im glad he is a humble leader and does what God leads him to do, not what people pressure him to do with their judgment.

You missed the point. Miles lead the prayer, not to mix politics and religion. He even stated at church that he almost declined the invite. He wasn't the first Pastor on the list to be invited. When he got the opportunity, he said that who would want to miss the opportunity to provide such a powerful impact to a nation so in needing.

I'm greatfall that God has lead me to the Rock in the past. I became usher/greeter there for a bit back at SDSU. I pray that Miles and the church, doesnt grow away from the Lord. I pray that they keep on growing to the Lord. I wish John Leeder was still there, he reminded me of paul the apostle. .

His sermons preach the simple message of Christ our loving Savior.After a while you realize that he will not go into deeper theological issues.I don't want to come off as too critical, but more like Apollos when he was pulled aside.He uses alot of facts about numbers and science to convince us that God is real which is entertaining, but can't we apply that complexity to the depth of the Scriptures and give God the proper recognition He deserves? Did he ever mention the book of Romans?

Nobody is perfect, only God is. If you are searching for some "deep explanations" of the scriptures.. you should search and learn it for yourself and maybe you can share it with others too. Maybe you have too much expectations of people. I think you know this already, NOBODY can satisfy our needs but Jesus!!! Be more encouraging to people, encourage those who are doing good to others.
