  • Nice video, I met Ted Furey when I was a young boy, My father brought me to his house to buy a fiddle, he gave me a 50 pence piece. What a great memory to have. Im 41 now and remember it like it was yesterday. My dad still plays and he is 85.

  • About the same time I met Ted Furey and his son George in Denmark and played a little with them. I even recorded a couple of hours of their music. Ted was a great fiddler and a great person and I will never forget him. A couple of years later I met Eddie and Finbar and heard them playing. Irish music is the BEST.
