You can tell that James Cameron wanted people to think that Arnold was the bad guy again. Up until Arnold warns John Connor to get down, it appears as if Arnold was sent to kill John. If it weren't for all the press/media, & trailers etc giving it away, moviegoers probably would've believed it.

One of the things I loved about this movie was how they made it look like arnold was the terminator and not "the protector" until this scene. A HUGE plot twist that was fresh and unexpected. The t-1000 looked and acted human so we naturally assumed he was the protector.

My friends and I recently re-watched T2 for like, the 100th time (individually, of course), and we realized how funny it was that, when the T1000 visited the home of John's foster parents, that they casually told him that "another guy came by looking for John, too," when that "other guy" was this huge dude, draped in leather, riding a motorcycle with his guns clearly visible and speaks in a thick, Austrian accent. Yeah, no big deal, just another dude looking for your foster kid.

What? I know of the story, yes, but that has nothing to do with the joke. The joke is that it's funny that his foster parents casually tell the T1000 that someone else was looking for their son earlier, as well, and that person happened to be the Terminator, who, at the time, was dressed like a killer and riding a motorcycle with his guns visible. That's not something you'd take lightly, which makes it funny. This isn't a shot at the movie, of course, I love it. But it's just a funny concept.

No, I'm pretty sure someone can do that in real life. Simply have your middle finger on the lever (it's a lever action rifle, note that) and keep a firm grip in the lever. Push forward and twirl the gun around, keeping your middle finger on the lever (it takes strength to keep going thus far)and when the handle returns to you, pull back. The lever will have returned to its original position and you should see two empty shells on the ground.

Blanks are too loud to use in sets, and PFC caps are too soft, so the editor's only choice is to add sound effects.

Actually, to me it looks like a sawed-off, short stock Winchester model, but the video quality is a bit off so I can't be sure.
