This came second to the singing cabby Ricky Peebles. This should clearly have won and if so Johnny Logan would have been looking over his shoulder in the Eurovision Final as this would have Kicked his smug 'I know everything about Eurovision' attitude off stage

I remember thinking how good this ballad was at the time and perfect for Eurovision. It should have been the UK entry and should have won by a mile! Why is the runner up always the best song?
