@DiamondinMJ He undoubtedly does, but his voice is not under fire. I always thought and still think today that his productions were never so polished as they could be. They always struck me as pretentious poetic works from an overblown ego, albeit I liked/like him. His best and most polished song is 'Holding on to You', but that's not to say that you should think any differently.

I love that dude I saw him in concert for the release of this incredible album ..He opened the show with jumping jack flash of the Rolling Stones and set the tone for the rest of the show .He was brilliant!

There's one interview w/Arsenio Hall where he's a bit of a wank, but actually rather personable. This was 2 albums after "The Hard Line" so I think he found a bit of humility at that point. I remember seeing an interview with him waaay back when "The Hard Line" was out where he was just an absolute arrogant ass.

If you listen closely at 3:03, a guy in the background hollers out " sing, Prince !" What the heck does he mean by that ? LOL!! Prince doesn't sing as well as this guy does. Honestly, I like some of Prince's songs too, but he just doesn't have the fine quality voice that Sananda has.

They always struck me as pretentious poetic works from an overblown ego, albeit I liked/like him. His best and most polished song is 'Holding on to You', but that's not to say that you should think any differently.

Wow looked for this for ages, fuckin awesome. A bit hectic in the biginning but he really pulled it back. Loved the acapella, but theres a time and a place to throw in a James Brown quote, didn't sound quite right in this type of song. Reguardless.
Still wish he was Terrence, he totally abandoned all this after he became Sananda. Real shame.

His version of " Who's Loving you" is horrible.
It also doesn't matter to me about Michael's lip synching at those Grammy's. Michael's performance was easily the highlight of the evening...winner or not... TTD lost too. I also don't think that MJ is responsible for the failure of TTD's second album. He went a totally different direction musically, that most people just weren't feeling. Plus, the comments about the Beatles......still love him though.

Neither prince. prince at 12 was playing carlos santana solos note by note and played several instruments. why is it about who did it first and not who lasted longer? All of which are pretty damn good if not great.
While wako hired hundreds spent millions and managed only a handful of mediocre releases in the same time periods. His first few solo albums are amazingly good but completely disposable.

This was a night of many crazy lessons for Michael Jackson:
First, "Sign O The Times" was the critics fav to win Best Album of the year, not MJ "Bad" album.
Second, Terence Trent Darby sing live, Mj lip synced.
Third, U2 won best album of the year, Bono took the mic to acknowledge Prince masterpiece and ignore Michael.
But MJ got his biggest lesson over the years, when The Joshua Tree and Sign O the Times became classic legendary records, while Bad is forgotten.

I hope some day, will see the book that tells the darkside of MJ. He ruined many people careers, he bought awards, stole songs, betray friends and did many nasty things to look good on public, he even forced Quincy Jones to cut down the complete Prince segment on the History of Rock & Roll doc.

There's one interview w/Arsenio Hall where he's a bit of a wank, but actually rather personable. This was 2 albums after "The Hard Line" so I think he found a bit of humility at that point.
