  • Roll over The Beatles...

I’m 100% Stone to the bone!

  • @XBlueMuffinX the beatles version is live and the stones version isnt.

  • @oskarloga me gusta harrison, pero al compararlo con Mick Taylor este ultimo gana por miles, un gran musico, Brian Jones tambien

  • It would be epic if Elvis Presley did roll over beethoven.....I like The Beatles version is better, but the Stones' is also cool because it is somebody over than Jagger

  • I like the Stones version better, but I'm not entirely sure their version is live? The Beatles' clearly is. In general though, the Beatles were better lyricists, the Stones were funkier and often seemed to have more fun with what they were doing,..but their lyrics are quite cruel and the majority of the songs are often lyrically shallow-ish, they lack the substance and insight that you can usually find in a Beatles song, if not straightforwardly, allegorically. The Beatles are far more profound.

  • The beatles will be the best always playing, composing, everything better than anyone.

  • @5991seba i put those two songs because of the great basis bass of the song but i know that harrison played the bass and paul mthe lead guitar

  • @5991seba no that is not correct paul is the one who played the lead guitar in old brown shoe. there is a book, I don't the author wich it has the personel of all the songs of the beatles. It says who played every instrument in every song, and it says that in old brown shoe , the lead guitar was played by Paul. i don't remember the name of the book but find it on internet that you will get it

  • @5991seba Nope, Harrison played BOTH the bass and the Lead on Old Brown Shoe. Paul played the lead on taxman. Taxman is the only Harrison song with McCartney on lead. Its documented...

  • @BL80488 no fixing a hole was played by paul and old brown shoe was played by paul too. in fixing a hole first harrison recorded the solo but paul did not like it and he deleted it and he didi it

  • @5991seba Harrison himself said that fixing a hole was the only real lead guitar he played on Stg. Peppers

  • @BL80488 but then paul came one morning he deleted his solo and herecorded the one we hear on the record

  • @5991seba Idk, I doubt that Harrison would mention that if it wasn't his lead on the record. It doesnt sould like McCartneys leads from that time period either Good Morning, Taxman, it sounds too smooth and fluid like one of George's. I kinda wish Paul didnt try to do George's job, It was probably caused tension between them.

  • @BL80488 i do not care, paul recorded it . There is a book of the personnel of beatles songs and it says clearlly that it was played by paul. i do not remember the name of the book but it is on the internet.

  • @5991seba Ok, well I just looked it up on multiple beatles sites and they all say its a double tracked lead played by George Harrison on his "Rocky" 1965 Fender Stratocaster

  • @BL80488 peperbackwriter was played by paul. he said that he didi it. when he came to argentina he played this song with the epihone gitar and he said that he recorded perperback writer's lead guitar with this one

  • @BL80488 Ok. That's right

  • matter of taste.. but the bealtes version got a plus, is a act on live and the lead guitarist sing and play his song.. and this it is a great difference between George Harrison and Keith Richards and other many lead guitar players

  • if you pay atention this version of the beatles is a live version if you hear th studio version the drums guitar and bass and a million times better than the one fromm the rolling

  • The Beatles hands down

  • i love the beatles but i have to say the rolling stones version sound a lil better :)

  • rolling stones version is alot better, the beatles try to hard

  • BEATLES! GEORGE ROCKS <333

    P.S. Stones Sucks

  • damm is hard to know who is better but i think beatles are better but if u had the rhythm of the rolling stones and george singing it would be way better

  • GO GEORGE!

  • Richards rules.

  • The Beatles version was live and still better than the Stones studio version. The Stones are great, but the Beatles are the greatest.

  • i think ringos drumming wins.

  • The version by The Rolling Stones is better.

Keith Richards plays even better than Chuck Berry.

  • @mrsoccerboy91 I disagree, I think The Bealtes version is much more up beat, George Harrison's leads are smoother and sound better, and harrison is also singing lead vocals and playing lead guitar at the same time unlike richards.

  • @mrsoccerboy91 that's not true I think keith is a very great guitarist but george was better if you see the vidoe where chuck burry is teaching keith richards how to play guitar

  • Responder a este vídeo... harrison even playing with the slide is better than keith richards and in that he is the best guitarrist ever. if you pay attem¡ntion to harrison's songs they all have slide and they are really difficult

  • George had more rythem and the stones sounds almost like the beatles version do i see coping?

  • George had more rythem and the stones sounds almost like the beatles version do i see coping?

  • the only good thing about the beatles is that they make the world know that you can make a lot of money in the music industry with a band with poppy polite songs to silly little girls but the stones bring the blues and boogie back from the american roots and do some RocknRoll with a gritty kinky daker sound music

    Stones till death !!!! yeahh

  • @badboyboogie77 Thats your opinion, Mine is that The Beatles were better songwriters and Better musicians, Harrison is a much better lead player than Richards

  • @BL80488 ...Name 3 Beatles songs that had better songwriting. I'm sorry but nothing beats Exile on Main St songwriting. Charlie Watts > Ringo Starr (as a drummer, Watts just has that tight groove, and playing traditional helps haha) Bill Wyman >>>>>>>>>>. Paul McCartney (have you listened to his disco era basslines?!) George Harrison = Keith Richards (both are pure awesomeness xD) Mick Jagger = (possibly <) the entire Beatles (Jagger could nail some shit [Emotional Rescue] but Lennon was great).

  • The Stones and even Elvis were insanely jelous of the Beatles. In 1970 the Beatles said, "screw it, you can have it we quit". In this contest of sound, both win. George wins on lead but the Stones win on overall sound because of Watts and Wyman. Wyman's zooming bass sound makes a big difference.

  • @IdolHans Yeah, I agree with you.

  • @IdolHans paul mcCartney is better than Bill Wyman if you hear very well the beatles brums are more difficult than the stone drums. the Beatles are better than the stones

  • @5991seba Nope both are wrong. Bill Wyman was heavily underrated for the grooves he laid down, Miss You still is the best disco bass ever. As a drummer, just cause Ringo threw in some fills don't make him better than Watts. Watts has got the 100% feel of drumming, the stuff that guy (and Wyman) play(ed) really wanted to make you shake your hips. But McCartney and Starr were very good too, I'm not saying they were bad, by no means. I always heard nothing but per simplicity in MCartney's stuff btw

  • @xDeadMisfitsx

if you hear "old brown shoe" "I want you" "helter skelter" by the beatles

you will know wath is playing the bass. McCartney is one of the best bass

players he sings and plays a million of notes at the same time

  • @5991seba "Sympathy for the Devil" "Rocks Off" "Live With Me" "Emotional Rescue" all have the groove that is better than "hitting a million of notes at the same time." Bass aint about flashing off, unless you're John Entwisle, or being able to sing, it's about having that really great fitting rythm that people can dance to and the drums can work with. The Stones rythm section is simply better for the biggest reason though, Watts is a more sofisticated drummer than Starr. Drum fills = nothing.

  • @xDeadMisfitsx

that's not true ringo starr is a million times better than watts and

mcCartney is a billion times better tah bill. If you hear the drums of good

morning or helter skelter or the end you'll know who's better

  • @xDeadMisfitsx if you hear all the drums of the beatles they have the cross hype and if you hear the bass of beatles songs and the basses of McCartney solo carrer are very difficult they have a million of notes. Why dont you hear I want you or yer blues or helter skelter or old brown shoe or taxman or and your bird can sing

and for drums the end drive my car birthday Polythene pam revolution she loves you etc they are very much difficult than watts drums

  • @5991seba .the bass on taxman and old brownshoe. was played by George Harrison.

  • @RubberSoul1968 yes i knew that but mccartney is a hundred times better than the bassist from the rolling and end of the conversatoin

  • @5991seba no, paul played the lead on almost all the albumm of sgt peppers and old browun shoe peper back writer, old brown shoe, ticket to ride

  • @xDeadMisfitsx , by the way i think watts is a very grat drummer. He is one of the best drummers ever but ringo is better. And with mcCartney the same he is better than Wyman.

  • the undisputed winner, chuck berry!

  • George all the way!! Did u ever noticed that him and Keith sorta looked a like when they both had the mop top? But in my a opinion george was better looking

  • Keith Richards is the KING!!!! (end of the story)

  • @ILOVEKINGMJ In your opinion maybe. Mine is that Keith Richards is a bad ass rythm guitarist. When it comes to playing lead guitar however, He doesn't come close to George Harrison.

  • the rolling stones in the 60's do not compare to the beatles ...

they were very similar, but no one exceeded the beatles albums sold!

I hear the stones but also in its later seasons 70's 80's 90's and his new 2010 album !!!!!

    50 years

and are very different from the beatles! I think I like them because they always kept their style of rock and roll

  • @matias1962 I hear you man, I also ment for this to be a George Harrison vs Keith Richards kinda thing also. I think Harrison plays this song better but thats just my opinion.

  • the stone's version is better.

"I wanna be your man" is better by the beatles, though.

  • @ChickenTheLastButOne Yeah but I think Harrison's Guitar solo is better than Richard's on this song.
