  • Very nice. I finaly did learn to read music, a little bit. I can't play by ear, it frustrates me so. I can't sing to my playing, too much going on, chords, shapes, transitions, timing, counts, strumming pattern, etc. I hope one day, if I live long enough, I'll be able to sing as well as play. I have played on those occassions when I am the worship leader as well, but do not sing then.

    God bless

  • If I could figure out how to E.mail you I could send you one or two of these simple choruses, with the chord change sequences, believe me, it's easy to accompany yourself, the strumming pattern just adjusts to the melody your' singing. When I put my E address in it wont send for some reason. There must be a way we can communicate?

  • Still going strong I see. I don't know many of the songs you've done, perhaps it's the difference in worship from one country to another. I'm in Southern California, and I think your in the UK. But they are still good, and will remain to be good for all time.

Keep up the Good fight, and the good work.

    God bless

  • I'm using a chorus book from 1979 lol. Called Scripture in Song. We used it in our House Church all thro. the. 80s It's full of my transpositions into the

easy chords I can play, in the songs I know, for I've never learned how to read music, playing by ear.

They are still using it in the Baptist Church we go to now, but with many more volumes, and modern stuff we are'nt so familiar with. But on the occassions when I'm the worship leader I always select some of the old ones.
