  • um bruno symantec is used at most schools and its not free my dad had a free version he downloaded from his job onto a usb drive and its unlimited.

  • Yout??? WTF Funny?

  • look i know norton isnt as good but theyre great becsause they created symantec. Symantec is like a better and newer version then norton. Symantec is also free and no subscriptions. Avast is ok too. But symantec is the best because my dad worked for metro and he fixed alot of computers. He knows symantec is the best out there. If u think symantec sucks just because it was made by norton then ur wrong. Norton failed but symantec succeeded.

  • How do I uninstall this?!

  • @Acoontey

If you can't unistall a program then find yourself another job as street cleaner or somthing like this.

  • @VidsJust Lol replied to a comment made over a year ago. Symantec Endpoint Protection was a program integrated into my computer by my school when I bought my computer. In order to uninstall it I needed the correct authorization, or get my computer re-imaged. Your trolling failed.

  • Symantec won against those anti virus and anti spywares because all of them suck. Malware-Bytes FTW. (Norton sucks balls)

  • @MessyRetard

good luck with those false positives.

MB identifies 300 threat files when a system is perfectly clean, and i'm not talking about tracking cookies. . Also, MB uses heuristics more than anything else. They detect based on activity. - it's scaled back with symantec so you don't get false positives. the definitions engine detects millions of threats, heuristics are primarily redundant.

    think before speaking.

  • I use Symantec Endpoint it rocks!!!!

  • @CharlieWalkerPCTech nice man you did the right...symantec is best than other antiviruses

  • doese this realy work or what

  • It works! I use it!

  • Symantec Endpoint Protection

    ftw

  • FYI, Linux systems are attacked too... If you use a horse, it does not mean that you don't take the same risk using the highway than a car... :-). If you browse the web, you are not in a safe environement, even if using a Linux distribution or MacOSX...

  • @elluppo2006 this is true, the only reason that computers running windows are attacked more often than computers running MacOSX or any Linux distribution is because they make up the majority of the computers running today. Someone can target Mac and maybe hit 200,000 or so, or they can target PC and hit around 1,000,000 or so. (I know my numbers are way off but that is what I could think of off the top of my head)

  • Or you can just use Linux and not have to worry.

  • My thoughts exactly! :-)

  • Too right. Symantec is all about scare mongering. They made a mess of MR1, MR2 not much better. Now there's MR3. FFS

  • Right, perfect solution, train over a thousand users how to use Linux in my company, and restructure everything. Great solution...
