  • turn the music off so u can hear m

  • why are they all so uninfusiastic lol

  • WTF can't hear anything with that foreground music

  • bitch tipz

  • @theawakener7 Well said and makes sense.A real fight has no rules and is far from fair.Fight like your life depended on it.

  • "Self Defence" LOL

  • @theawakener7 I know this is an old as shit post, but its probibly one of the most realistic and fundamental posts ive EVER read. Congrats, you sir know whats, what.

  • @theawakener7 haha love it!

  • @theawakener7 And I only say that because self defense is relative. No disrespect.

  • @theawakener7 That's the worst advice ever.

  • @theawakener7 dude by just reading that i just released the inner beast within me thank you

  • KRAV MAGA

  • @theawakener7 in order for the person to gogue the eye he has to place himself in a position for that to be possible (distance). Also I train mma and I've got gogued in the eye in serval occasiouns (ofc it's not legal but it happens more than people think), and no I dont see myself getting my ass kicked by a random guy without and combat skills at all..

  • @theawakener7 for a beginner that works, but if he meets someone with combat skills.. He's fucked..

  • the best way is to take them down and control them. most of the fighters outside stand up right, it would be easy even if you have the worse double leg because they're not expecting it. have a good center gravity and cover all the vulnerable areas of your body as best you can and ready to counter them when they attack you and exposed themselves. so being aggressive is a bad tip. self-defence focuses on defence, not aggression.

  • @grimmjow123410 being aggresive makes your opponent think.. he will be like "damn he must know something about martial arts because he is not scared" then there goes fear.. your own fear will destroy you.. if you are covered with fear.. you will just cover and block your face.. aggresiveness is one of the key in a streetfight

  • @theawakener7 What are we hunting, general?

  • non-tips much ?

  • The best way to win a fight is to avoid it imo :)

  • Comment removed

  • @theawakener7 well said

  • Another tip...if you ever get the chance..aim for the ears..you need to do it really powerful but when you hit.. your opponent will just fall over and stay down for a while.

  • @Beakle why for the eyes there's a higher chance to inflict some damage and get the time to flee

  • I agree with them; no matter how trained you are it's not worth getting into a fight outside of an official fight club ect., if the opponent pulls a knife or fire arm out, you chances of coming out on top are slim to none.

Best advice is to avoid violence at all costs and to get out as FAST as you can if you sense any serious danger.

  • Not to mention gettin sued for everything u have ... if ur not looking for trouble u most likely won't find any..

  • Just be ready to go to the booty house where the gorillas roam... or get ur fuckin head blown off.

  • ha ha, they all say the politically correct shit

  • @theawakener7 Nah, You are all wrong.

Get angry = You dropping your guard, = you getting koed.

I don't think you know how to fight

  • Yeah! But you still have to train to handle a street situation. Because sometimes escape is not an opion! If they're choking your wife or girl friend then you just can run away. Also police and soldiers just can't run away at least not in an uncontrolled fashion that is.

  • I got some martial arts experience but I think I'm gonna be mutch better of with a gun...a 45 colt should do the trick :D:D

  • @theawakener7

you should never let an emotion controll your fight, everybody has them when they are in such kind of situation.. maybe anger, cause he did something to you , or your intimidated by his screaming.. look past that , and stay calm.. have confidence in yourself and what you can do, know what you will do.. even before the fight, cause in the fight itself you shouldnt think, you should already know what you are going to do.. but never, ever.. let an emotion controll you.

  • @theawakener7

    this is fucking creepy, dude.

  • @theawakener7 being more aggresive is bad advice

great advice for some but as a general tip i wouldnt use that

you should read the art of war

everything else you said is great but i perfer to keep a straight face and see the humour in it

  • @scofra XD

  • @scofra to be quite honest (and I do feel dumb for this fact) I've never seen a matrix movie, but Imma go see if that is a good thing or not

  • @scofra ???

  • When in doubt KNOCK EM OUT!

  • Finally, somebody making sense. I guess that's because theses guys aren't sitting behind a keyboard eatin' chips, huh?

  • but i don't agree with jkd at all

  • theawakener7 has the concept.

  • be ready to go to jail and get ass fucked...if u hurt somebody on the street

  • @BillTheButcher13 maybe for ur country..

  • shut up man, These guys know what they are talking about. you dont. Yours probs some 40 year old man with a stain on his shirt.

  • MMA is a sport and have rules...then in the street MMA has no rules...destroy your opponent

  • Kearn to spell DIPSHIT it is DEFENSE with an S

  • @deelberg LOL now i cant spell LEARN

  • Hence the reason to learn Krav Maga if you are looking to defend yourself in the streets. The most dangerous weapon in close combat is a knife and it's not uncommon for a person to have one on them.

  • well spoken

  • best tip is to avoid the fight. just run away. after that everyone will call u a pussy but so what.

  • Ya think Fight Club would let a 14 year old girl in? I bet they could give me some real good self-defence tips.

  • objectives in an SD scenario different from the ones in the ring? SD objectives run thus: 1) avoid danger if possible 2) if (1) not possible, use force appropriate to the danger faced 3) disengage yourself from danger ASAP in the ring: 1) if they defend attack within the rules 2) if they attack defend within the rules 3)repeat above until TKO/tapout is achieved 4)stop on bell even toughed fighters choose (1) on SD list - a good choice & lesson
  • @scopeophile true true true .......right on the money

  • Just because they know how to fight does NOT mean they know self defense. They are two VERY different things. As you can tell by their answers.

  • shut the fuck up and stop trying to sound smart queer

  • Queer as in gay or queer as in stupid? because the way you just replied to my comment you seem like you might be both. How can I shut up or sound smart when I haven't said a word. Maybe you meant "don't write stupid shit or try to seem smart" Who's the dumb ass now?

  • Comment removed

  • yeh theyll end up beating someone up and goin to jail .. which is not self defence at all. true.

  • um i think the fact that they are fighters by definitions means they know self-defence

  • Fighting is illegal; self-defense is legal. In real life, not sport. What is self defense? Using whatever means necessary to quickly end a situation that offers you grievous bodily injury. Most hard-core fighting styles are not self-defense. Think about it does "Extreme fighting" even sound remotely like you are looking for conflict resolution through negotiate? I don't think so.

  • DEFENCE? Unprofessional right out the get.

  • you guys all have downs syndrome. its true.

  • @monkeyhead360 How can you tell. Is it because they forget to capitalize the first letter of their sentences?

  • @monkeyhead360 Maybe they forget to end questions with a question mark. ;)

  • yeah, thats it.

  • thnx for nuthin wit diz video everything that waz said is fuckin common sense

  • they advised learning "verbal combat", "keep your hands up" and "run"

good, solid advice from these fighters, got their heads screwd on straight

  • what a gay lesson..

  • that was kinda funny. it was self defense tips and everyone said that their tip was to have really good speaking skills and good track shoes.

  • Good luck with that pathetic view. Come to me with chaos, I'll put order into it, no matter how violent you are. A man who controls himself is always, remember always, the man who wins the fight.

  • @SmokiSounds funny you should say that - if you look at MMA and TMA's (yes, I do include boxing in that) the core of many systems is not getting angry and wound up.... it seems, ironically for some, angry makes for a bad fighter...

Fighting angry will only get you hurt.

  • self defense?

    defence?

  • lets see these tips work if your cornered or surrounded

  • Bruce lee used to carry a .45 magnum, i saw it in one of his documentaries, i believe it was the little dragon? im not sure but he did carry a .45.

  • There is no such thing as a .45 magnum

  • i think its a 44 magnum

  • To be honoest i dont think he carried a .44 eaither, its a HUGE round, not fit for self defence at all since its such a huge gun that its clumpsy to use in close combat. My guess is that he carried a .45 or a .357 magnum

  • This is a .44 magnum the most powerful gun in the world. You got to ask yourself one question do you feel lucky. Well do you punk !

  • Ive been looking for that scene for ages know, can't find it :D

    You feeling lucky?

  • hahaha easy there clint lmao

  • .45 Wildey Magnum, .45 Winchester Magnum

  • I have never heard of the Wildey Magnum, and the Winchester .45 is a rifle round, we are talking about pistol rounds

  • No, the .45 Winchester Magnum is a pistol round(.458 Mag= rifle round), used most commonly in AMT semiautomatic pitols. The .45 Wildey Magnum is a cartridge engineered by Wildey firearms, for their semiautomatic pistols. There are also some revolvers that are able to fire these cartridges, of course with the appropriate moon clips. Just because you haven't heard of something doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. If you're not an informed gun guy yourself, don't go around trying to educate others.

  • sooo true i kinda laughed at frank mier commerical he like ther prob 10 people at any given night can beat me n a fight hah dont make me laugh get n fight wit me an frank mier ganna get shot lol like push ups r pointless its 2009 we got guns now. lol

  • he would just eat the bullets then kick your ass

  • I heard Frank give a pretty long speach about keeping a gun. I wouldn't be suprised if carries one.

  • they speak the truth. someone pulls out a gun or knife and ur fucked. in the streets your life is in danger so anything goes. MMA is a sport, there are rules.

  • @lucirz that where grav maga comes in.

  • @lucirz umm.... knife defense and gun defense is even taught in karate and you can literally make bullets drop at your feet through proper use of chi

People need to remember chi and also that a weapon is just an artificial extension of yourself

  • @mmaninjitsu use chi to make "bullets" drop at my feet? lmao too much crouching tiger bro

  • last guy was funny

  • I think its funny how they said that they wouldnt use their fighting skill for a street fight. I thought learning martial arts was for self defense?

  • Or for pro fighting ;-)

  • evasion is a form of self defense.

defending your life by getting out of a dangerous situation.

  • my self defense tip is simple, kick em in the nuts or eye gouge him..then get the fuck out

  • that's right ... just cover your face...

  • I love how honest these guys are. Truly the best advices ever.

  • i cant even hear them

  • rocket propelled grendade, great for your everyday streetfight

  • get a concealed carry license and a hammerless automatic .40 with a three inch barrell that carries 9 rounds and fits in your pocket. and go for the balls

  • I bet this is the reason they didnt go to college.

  • hit first, hit hard, hit fast, and keep on hitting until they're on the ground. only real advice id' give to a novice oh and yeah deff gotta keep ur hands up at all times and stay on your toes

  • hey man just wanna ask you why should you stay on your toes

  • balance stupid. lol get hit with a light punch while ur on ur heels. u will fall down and get pounded into the earths crust.

  • watch your language

  • um..how bout, no.

  • how about get a life and new brain boy. i have better thing to do then stay here and argue with you. prick

  • yeah. good idea, loser.

  • hah, you barely had to say anything and you owned him.

  • lol ya

  • can you really acuse anyone of bad language with a name like that?

  • Luftfuckers is my madien name and frankly Im pissed of with people like you taken the piss out of it.

  • And that is what i like. NO MORE FOOLS FROM KRAV MAGA - FUCK THIS WHOLE STUPID PROPAGANDE. Here you got a bunch of MMA fighters - they know how to whoop some ass, they know everything there is to know about fighting. And yet they say that streetfighting is no fair and good deal. Much better to avoid it than getting into a confrontation.

  • very true username. perfect example, kimbo slice.

  • shows how much you know. kimbo is a nice guy, his first fight against big d, big d came to HIM asking to fight, not the other way around. then when he blew up on the internet, he just started taking all comers, and quit his job because the dumbasses that tried to fight him paid thousands of $. same shit he did now, except before the octagon it was the boatyard.

  • I agree these guys fight all the time on street. Guns, knifes and other weapons are NOT used by these kinda athletes; however, fighting is in thier blood and they enjoy it. Hurting a person (reguarding weapons) is not in these guys blood.

  • They pretend they don't street fight, but of course most of them do.

Anyone who's been to a violent martial arts school knows that the students love to go out and get into fights.

  • How many students of MMA/BJJ/Judo/Boxing/Muay Thai or other violent martial arts do you know that love looking for street fights?

I've trained and/or personally known people that train) at over 14 different martial arts school since 1992, including Shotokan Karate, Kempo, Judo, BJJ, MMA, Boxing, CLF, Sanda and Wing Chun.

From professional fighters to hobbyists, of both genders and different ages. In my experience and the experience of others, what you said is far from the truth.

  • When I say "violent martial arts school" I don't mean any place that teaches muay thai, BJJ, boxing, etc.

I'm talking about the schools that have a reputation for being "tough". The ones where:

    1) People give "payback" at the slightest provocation.

    2) It's considered normal for injuries to occur on a daily basis.

    3) The students have beat up faces.

    4) Pro fighters train.

I've attended one of those schools. I'm sure you have too. And many of the guys at those schools like street fighting.

  • Thanks for explanation. No, sorry. I've never been to any such schools... honestly.

However, any place that teaches Muay Thai, Boxing, and certainly MMA has pro fighters and students have beat up faces. Heck, I've had bruises all over.

    NOW READ THIS:

This video is about MMA fighters making comments, and you made the comment they love street fights and go out looking for them.

So, how many MMA fighters do you know personally? Of the several MMA schools I've been, I haven't seen this.

  • Without giving out too much personal info, I'll say that at each of the schools I've been to there were students I met who loved street fighting.

    > you made the comment they [MMA fighters]

    > love street fights and go out looking

    > for them.

That's correct. When they talk to the media and outsiders they'll give the impression that they'd only fight in the ring or in self defense. When talking to their friends they'll admit that they love to street fight and do it regularly.

  • I'm sorry but I find it inapropriate that you make a comment about these specific fighters in this clip (that they talk to friends about how they like to fight) without giving into personal details.

These guys are not hiding under a mask and are giving their opinion in public. If you are going to suggest they are lying and that indeed they like to fight (in fact, that they brag about it with their friends), the least you can do is to explain how you know this about them and who you are.

  • I'm not talking about the fighters in this video specifically. I am talking about fighters/pro-fighters in general.

I do not know the fighters in this video. I don't know if they are lying or telling the truth.

  • And I'm talking about pro-fighters in general as well. I've known plenty. And my conclusion has been that the majority do not engage or look for in street fighting or looking for fights.

In fact, I've seen a lot of self-proclaimed street fighters/brawlers/whatever go into a MMA school and then dropping after the second day of class.

Not only they can't handle the physical requirements, but they can't handle the fact that not even pro fighters think like retards looking for fights.

  • > my conclusion has been that the majority

    > do not engage or look for in street fighting

    > or looking for fights.

My conclusion is different than yours. At one school I went to at least half of them wanted to get in street fights.

They'd talk about it all the time. They couldn't wait for some guy to look at them wrong or bump into them so they could go for it.

  • If you're telling the truth about being a martial artist, you've met lots of guys who love to street fight. Lots. I think you're a little self deluded about this.

You want to believe that all martial artists are honorable and would only street fight if they absolutely had to. Many are indeed like this. But of course many aren't.

Just be honest. I'm sure you've been in a few street fights yourself and loved the feeling of smashing the other guy.

  • I never said I believe about martial arts honor and crap. That's an strawman and a red herring dude. Weak logic there dude.

I've met a couple like that, but that doesn't mean every single MMAer is like that. In fact, in my personal experience, people who love and brag about street fighting are an incredibly small exception rather than the rule.

And I've had street fights and I've smashed faces and got mine smashed. Did I enjoy it, yeah?

Did I enjoy LOOKING FOR IT? No. Big difference.

  • I'm not passing judgment on you. You may very well be the type who does not go looking for street fights.

I've met many people in multiple dojos who love street fighting. I'm not saying every MMA er is like that, I'm saying a LOT of them are.

Also they may not brag publicly about it. You have to listen for the stories. Learn about their reputation. And watch them if you hang out with them.

  • I know them, and I hang with them. I know exactly the environment I delve into. And that is why I'm telling you that such a generalization does not hold water.

You say a lot? What is a lot? A majority? 50%? How do you quantify this?

  • At least 50%. Probably more.

Almost every single martial artist or hardcore weight lifter I know talks about street fighting and can't wait for someone to look at them wrong or bump into them so they can fight.

When someone starts some shit you can talk them down or you can go for it and pound them. Most trained fighters prefer the latter.

  • until they get mauled by 5 guys.

I train tons too. i wont completely disagree, but they should know that everybody has their day. the more you fight, the more you learn that. The more they scrape it out.. the less they want too. cuz one day a guy will just pull a gun or knife.

  • IFL beats out the UFC
