Powerful machines, Lotta power! But terrible brakes and 4x4 system, the front differential just takes to long for it to lock and by the time it does you have lost momentum and are stuck. I got to test drive the outlander 800-650-500-400-renegade 800-500 and preferred the 500 over the 800 because the power was more manageable but the brakes on the outlanders are really weak the renegade seemed better but not by much.

Not a dealer but my Outty 800 has left me stranded many times. I'm hoping the bugs are all repaired now and if so then its a pretty good machine. I like the power and comfort but its just too many repairs and concerning my riding, I'm an old man and the younger guys trash their Yamaha's and they seldom break.
