  • Wow thats like 70 mph there are faster speed limits like that in a ton of places

  • wow KM big deal..........fag

  • i see people have a hard time telling the difference from Mph to Km/h..

  • so in parts of texas, theyre rasing the limits up to 90mph on our highways :D cant wait.

  • @hitmybongplz thats pretty cool for y'all, but i still like the NO LIMIT in my country better :P GERMANY!!!

  • @prima5saeckle fuck your fucking country germany SUCKS BALLS! USA ROCKS! GO DIE IN THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE!

  • @anythingtahoo somebody being jealous? :D it think its cool how a loser like you can get pissed about a comment like this lol sorry, but the bermuda triangle is not in germany, just in case you thought so. it kinda sounded like you were trying to be funny, but actually you just showed how stupid you are!

  • @prima5saeckle i know stupid its next to miami! face fucker!!!!!!

  • My dad had a 2005 suburban and we had it supercharged, 460 hp at the rear wheels, that damn overspeed warning went off a lot....

  • Dang, you can hold the cam pretty steady for 120.

Plus, if you were going 120, your rpm would be alot higher. Is it a 6 speed? Or did you modify the trans.?

  • @thisismyname1920 no your just retarded check the speedo?

  • @hi410014 Well, shit I must be retarded. The "speedo" says 120 mph.....

  • @thisismyname1920 you must be retarded because it sats kp/h

  • @1antisupercat I must inform you, that I am not retarded. I simply did not notice that it was km/h, not mph.

  • @thisismyname1920 yeah you are retarded 120 mp/h at 2 grand yeah right

  • @1antisupercat You moron, I simply did not notice that it was kph. I am used to mph, i see it everyday. Excuse me for my misunderstanding. Thats why i questioned in the first place

  • @1antisupercat its possible to gear it to do that...

  • @thisismyname1920 It's in km per hour not mph. Thats like 80 mph

  • @griffin66441 Right you are! I did not relize that it is inverted like that!

  • my 2005 sierra dinged at me when i revved it up

  • im glad my ford dont have that

  • @coreyhess1

Ford's do have that it's called MyKey. it mutes the music until you buckle your seat belt and limits your speed to 80

  • @transamphoenix thats on the brand new ones fords and thats only if u set it for ur teen drivers

  • dude u should get a performance tune thats what i did to my escalade

  • a friend asks how do you tell the car vehicle overspeed?? I have a 2007 avalanche and does not do that!

  • turn the ignition to start. it won't hurt your starter 'cause you're in drive, and it just might shut down the ecu for a second so you can go well.....cruising speed

  • wow, its limited to ~80 MPH

  • it's us made for other contries

  • @SergeyVA lol

you know something if none of middle eastern ppl bought your country's cars in this year only ,no wonder they will broke

  • hahahahahahaah you suck!

  • ding hey asshole slow down you dumbass

  • wow 200 wtf, the tahoe i was in only did 120 so how is this posable

  • @thereallifez

    it's Km\h

  • @mujjjjjj but km/h numbes are smaller and mph are the big ones, is

  • @thereallifez

In saudi arabia we use Km\h in our cars that's why you see Km\h as the big Number

and Mph as the small numbers

  • @thereallifez its in kph kid... look again.. the mph are small ones

  • @asillustratedby1 ok i see but the tahoe i was in had the mph numbers instead of the km/h numbers mayby this modle has a change

  • STOP BONGING

  • probably cause in alberta everyone drives 160 so that would be on always?

  • the tak is in km/h so really your only going like 75 mph?

    fucking lame

  • u idiots thats f... kilometer not miles per hour this truck is going no more than 75 mph

  • I'm extremely surprised the vehicle can run at 120 mph at only 2000 rpms. In my truck at 2000 rpms in overdrive I'm doing 65, at 3000 rpms in OD I'm doing 100 mph, but thats as far as it will let me go, due to a speed limiter.

  • @berto1014 Its because this is in kph, no mph.

  • No looks like something from the UAE they have 120km/h as speed warning.

  • This isn't even US spec! Read the description folks :D

  • my Dad's 08 tahoe dosen't do that. I took it to 120 once and it didnt say nothin just the seatbelt warning flashed but thats just cause i hate my seatbelt. :D

  • Comment removed

  • i love tahoes everybody chevy made and i think the new ones are just as nice as a escalade...theres not a big differents

  • im not rideing with you!!!!

  • @Deion000 pansy

  • @samberg6160 ok..............

  • I had an 07 Tahoe as well and it was made in Texas somewhere... I live in Canada but I never had any of these warnings. I usually exceeded 140 km/h on the highway and the only warning I got is when the Tahoe cut power to the engine at 160 km/h. Also was the wrong time to cut the power because I blew past a cop doing 160 and had my vehicle seized and 1 year license suspension.

  • this is bullsh*t. My 07 tahoe never told me this and I had it up 100mph. The most it did was the CPU stop the truck from going any faster....

  • @kingvin7613 Do you really think this is in the U.S.???Did you read the description? Most middle east cars have this same speed warning...

  • واللله العظيم هباااااااااااله منك

  • This chevrolet is for the fuckin birds. 80 Mph =P

  • WOW! it tells you overspeed at 75 mph!!! It makes me not want to buy this car....

  • he was only going 80 mph

  • mabey if u keep doing that ur tires are going to blow out..just a hint there have fun surviving a crash doing over 100mph =)

  • @Mikeman410 His speedometer is in Kilometers Per Hour, not Miles Per Hour.

  • guess it is because in usa there is a law! if u exceed 80 mph u r f**ed

  • @SergeyVA

not really... 80 mph is just a big ticket. 110+ may be reckless driving on some interstates and highways. that's jail time. buit if you're talking about on the streets... yeah, DONT DRIVE 80.

  • @SergeyVA depends where you live. Maybe in the northeast. But in the rest of the country, they have limits of about 75 most places. And in Texas Nevada and Montana, have 80 MPH limits. And cops usually give you 5-15 MPH over the limit before stopping you.

  • @Maserati7200 In northern Georgia I've never seen a limit over 55. Even on interstates it's 55 and people still run 70 to 90. I wonder how much revenue our state patrol brings in?

  • @SergeyVA no your not fucked. better yet...define fucked. Cause my friend did 85 and she got a ticket. My other friend did 80. got pulled and only got a warning...

  • @318Captain They're either incredibly hot females, or the officer didn't get a reading on them. Check the super speeding law.

  • @FarFromAverageJoe The one that got a ticket was kinda hot. The other friend who got the warning was a guy...lol

  • @SergeyVA ha!

in north dakota coming into grand forks, we got passed when we were doin 80 mph by a semi.

never see that here in canada.

  • @SergeyVA no not really, this truck is clearly not from usa, as you can tell it is in Km/h not MPH

  • @SergeyVA

not very safe to do 100mph in a 5000lb truck

  • @dumapies how what will happen!??

  • @anythingtahoo

it will start to sway from side to side, it might eventually cause you to lose control of the vehicle

  • set in kilometers.....80mph

  • Ok, heres the catch, look at the tach, 2grand at 120mph? and he caught a passing gear, thats 1fast tahoe, the light must come on at 80mph, thats all he's traveling at lol, have a nice day.

  • not even at 80MPH. thats stupid. I think mine is set to go 100 before it cut out and slows down. If I ever got one of them, id rip that system right out!

  • ur only going 80 mph thats gay

  • something is definatly up...it comes on in North American spec vehicles to if you go over 100 mph/160 km/h so you would have to be running a chip to remove the limiter to ever see this message.

  • I didn't know GM had this feature in its cars. That's pretty cool. I admit, it'd get a bit annoying though. But I guess it's better than what Nissan does on the GTR.

On the GTR, the nav system communicates with something so it knows the speed limit on certain highways in Japan. And when you are on these highways, the speed is limited so that you cannot go over a certain speed. But if you go to a track or a road where there is no limit, the limiter is deactivated.

  • No, the GTR is simply limited to 80mph (or whatever the speed limit on Japanese highways is), so you COULD go faster than allowed in citys / on other roads. The sat nav just knows when you go to a racetrack and then turns the limiter off.

  • lol.. 140 Km/h is normal traveling speed

    here in germany.. lol

  • How ironic. A big ol' Tahoe would be annoying down south in Texas because of "overspeed."

But I guess that's what it take to CYA from people who crash from speeding and like to blame it on the company.

  • Ding! Time to stomp the accelerator!

  • @VeriSheri sounds about right to me

  • so anything over 75 MPH (give or take a few MPH) is considered "overspeed"... gay. if i had yukon that overspeed light would be on constantly.

  • wow thats fucked up. Mine is a 2007 and it does 161.

get the electrical system re calibrated

  • slow

  • No wonder GM is an almost extinct company.

  • Because it warns idiot drivers?

  • ???

  • @dhprince What does a overpeed chime have them to do with almost going belly up?

  • omg i was like wtf those are after market gauges, then i seen the km/h haha canadian tahoe cool lol

  • its because on the american model in miles per hour, the top speed is 120 mph on the cluster though on the other clusters with km/h they probably didnt change the warning. When i go over 120 mph the overspeed warning comes on because the cluster cannot display over 120 mph. It must not have been changed to km/h.

  • Is it to warn you for speed limit or vehicle control?

  • See a Tahoe in my bg :D, it was wrecked the same day xD.

  • am...on this 1 i see 200mph top speed..my top speed is 1 120mph....how?

  • thats kilometers thats why if u look right above the 200 you will see 120 in small print which is miles

  • hhaaaaaaaahhhhha

really u make me laugh from my heart

    r u kidden !!!?

  • KM/H Read the Gauges Dumb ASS

  • That is completely pointless and probably really annoying. Its just like the beeping noise my car makes when it decides i've had my turnsignal on for too long. I'm not 90 years old i f*#king know that it's on.

  • ur correct in united states, canada, and mexico the vehicles dont have a overspeed warning

  • maybe they trying to help you with fuel mileage lol

  • the speed warning is to prevent the BIG truck from being crashed by ppl who dont know how to drive. also, the warning is standard in every tahoe, suburban, silverado, and avalanche around the world.

  • not here in mexico...

  • yes, also to prevent rollovers :D ive seen it in older impalas as well.

  • asshole!

  • I'm sorry.

  • damn first of all i thought that the big numbers were mph^^ but 130 is way to slow. i just came back home with my E280 CDI (i live in germany) and i kicked it to 240km/h

    that was relatively fast

  • It would make more sense to put the overspeed warning on a manual transmission vehicle, not an automatic. Speed limits shouldn't matter, as some in the US are 80mph (Texas...of course). otherwise they're 70mph and a lot of people cruise at 80 which is 130km/h. The thing that would bother me, not that I drive that fast regularly, is if you have the OnStar system, I'm sure it'll log the overspeed time and possibly report it to GM and in turn they may set aside any powertrain warranty claims...

  • true

i think 80 mph is too slow for a speed warning. 90 at least

  • wat u mean in the middle east we buy more gm cars then in usa so nice try and speed waring wat its cuts down the speed

  • why are there TAHOES in the middle east???

  • theyre everywhere

    even in china

i mean we have hondas here and toyotas dont we

  • yeah cuz they're built here.

  • yeah and tajoes and burbs are built there

  • no car company is really american or japanese anymore. they're all "world" cars.

  • yeah i know

its stupid and i want the ometal ones back not the plastic ione they have now

im gladi drive a '93 suburban 4x4 now thats nothing but metal

  • this is like the cadillac of all SUVs my grandpa has a '99 yukon and it's very fun to drive

  • ummm, wouldnt the Escalade be the Cadillac of all SUV's? haha

  • The "bong" on GM vehicles has ALWAYS been more refined and elegant than other cars.. But an overspeed warning for 120 km/h... WTF!??

  • Vehicle overspeed? WTF is the max speed it "allows" you to go w/o beeping, because that isn't fast at all...

  • In GCC Or Middle East Spec. All Cars Must Equiped With Over Speed Warning Informing The Driver That He Exceeded The Maximum Speed Limit Allowed Even In HighWays Which Is 120 Km/H.

  • That stinks! Hope it's just an annoyance than a real warning.

  • what happens if u continue this? will the car send a signal to onstar to have the police chase you? lol

  • of course the u.s. doesnt have it.

    its fucking stupid as shit

  • I AGREE

  • So you cant go any faster than 80MPH/130KMH?

  • you can, but once you hit 120MPH (200KPH) it slows you to 90MPH (140KPH)

  • my mom bought a 07 tahoe nombre my dad run faster for a drive just like that homie.

  • WTF? 130 Km/h is the speed limit on the highways where I live. Overspeed at 120?

  • there is a new option of the speed limiters of 70 MPH on Chevy/GMC trucks in the US for 2008

  • No way.... that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!

  • its for the dads who buy there kids new trucks lol dont want them to be dieing since you know they will be going as fast as they can

  • dying*

  • Funny...I drive a 2007 Denali Yukon XL and haven't seen this speed warning at 120km/h. Could the warning have been disabled? I got it used from the USA imported to Canada.

  • We have this on our Mercedes R320 CDI in Dubai, it keeps beeping until you slow down. Beeping loudly

  • LOL I like how you added "Beeping loudly".

  • Wow.. that's gotta be the lowest set governor i've ever seen... thats 77 mph. Did it really stop you from going any fasteR?

  • thats not a governor, thats just a little warning.

  • OOhhh haha it looked like it stopped going, i guess he let off the gas

  • how does it know ur "over speed"

some times you do need to go over 120 mph..

  • Haha, when in a full-sized SUV do you need to go 120 MPH? BTW, that's KPH anyway, so it's only about 70 MPH.

  • don't be fooled!

    that's metric, not imperial!

  • thats stupid

  • complete waste of time

  • overspeed warning thats just fucken retarded and its only goin 120kh

  • its km/h not mph. i just got that. i'm retarded.

  • thats an escalade you idiot

  • That is a chevrolet tahoe. look at the diffrent gauges of the tahoe, envoy, and escalade then u see da diff

  • No way dude, Escalade guages are way different.

  • oops im an idiot kilometers per hours no wonder ????:0

  • idk that they were able to go 200

but to bad its gets governed

  • who the fuck are you knowing all this knowledge

  • suck a dick 40mph very funny suck a dick the only reason you say your bike is because thats all you own

  • im confused, its not even going that fast. 80 mph is fast but not fast enough for a warning and a fuel cut back system WTF. that would never fly in america lmfao

  • All of the new GM SUV's have the speed warning at 90MPH, even the old ones have it. I only know that the new ones will slow you back to 90MPH if you hit 120MPH. it really sucks,(i'm not sure what the Escalades cutoff is since the speedometer hits 160MPH.

  • i went 90 the other day and it didnt yell at me thats weird

  • in what SUV?

  • How is it not available in the US . Its american car

  • Damn , it limits u @ to only 80 mph! that really sucks.

  • ID BE LIKE FUCK U

  • i gots a 08 suburban with a 10 psi sts turbo... no video yet.

  • I was looking lik wtf 200!! but then I realised its in kilometers

  • i got an 07' denali (380 h.p., US spec.)... have been well over 100 with it... never seen that though

  • i thought the 07' had the 6.2L rated over 400hp? my question is though, what the hell do u need an suv with 400hp?

  • the denali has a mysterious 22 missing horsepower.. nobody really knows where it went, and i'm being serious, kuz the escalade has 403 horsepower (and the same engine).. but why the hell wouldn't you need an suv with 400hp? its a blast!!

  • another reason: i weighs a LOT and needs that power to keep up with other cars!

  • cause its a truck and its funner with the extra horses

  • if ur gonna buy a powerful suv, just go with the cayenne turbo.

  • gross, it ugly

  • F*** yeah

  • its killer fast! then buy a touareg v8. they look good and go like hell!

  • nah, I'm not a big fan of german cars, ill stick with the Escalade.

  • i understand. i am a german car fan and like my suv's to acclelerate and handel like sports cars.

  • i'm not german trucks are crap, their cars are ok though

  • they have the g-wagen and that is really cool looking and very tough. you should teat a vw touateg! thay will really surprise you. the brakes are 330mm 6 piston brembos... stops faster than a lamborghini diablo. the handling is excelent along with a nice V8 growl. it would surprise many people as it did for me.

  • i dont like the g-wagon, it's just a copy of the Hummer H1, just made worse by mercedes, germans never make their cars loud, they are always super quiet, it might surprise me, but i'll stick with American cars, and Toyotas
