This is my thinking:

You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he may judge you on your merits coupled with your commitments, and not just on whether or not you believed in him.

As a Christian I do believe in God. As an imperfect human I don't always behave as a Christian should. I believe you must open your heart to Jesus and let him take charge of your life. Good works are to be commended but I don't think they will get you into Heaven. JMO.

I choose to believe in God because I don't think we die and that's it. I believe in an afterlife that will be more glorious than anything we can imagine. I read my Holy Bible daily and Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice by dying by crucifixion and rising again in three days. Jesus says no man comes to the Father except by me.

i agree with you pastgoing, I'm a Christian myself. And God is real and have seen so through the bible and his prophecies in it. And not every christian is perfect. There will be mess ups and temptation. I love everyone even athiests because God says to love our enemies and its not always easy, and we should pray for them too. Christianity is considered religion but its really a relationship with God. I wish people would realize God is real. He's helped me a few times and shown me things. :)

Methinks you do not know that agnosticism and atheism aren't exclusive. They are two separate descriptions. agnostic/gnostic = don't know/know

atheist/theist = no belief in god/belief in god.
