"Forgiveness? divine" (like, only god can forgive what you did to me) then "Revenge is more...human" (as in, I'm human it's my urge to seek revenge on you). Booth is a poet with limitless potential. To demand that what he's singing is "not a song" but a charm, a defense, a protection for him "with your name on" telling (her/him) that he's protected from their "heat" with this "beat". Love it.
