I just read most of the comments here. This isn't a gay movie at all. Anyone who thinks so hasn't seen it. The point of the movie is that one guy wants to think he is open-minded enough to entertain the thought of having one gay sex moment. The other guy, an 'artist' who thinks he's a lot more open-minded than he really is, turns out to be unable to even try it. There is no gay sex at all. Just some interesting thoughts: do we know outselves completely? our spouses? our best friends?

Rented from NetFlix. I thought it would be mildly titillating. It turned out to be surprisingly thought-provoking, quite fine, never Hollywoodish. Very glad to have watched it. It just goes to show you that people are much more (or, in one character's case, much less) than they appear on the surface. Highly recommended.

The story line of this movie is pretty much what you saw.... the married guys friend comes back to town and they end up catching up at his house do some shit.. then decide to enter a pornographic film festival (humpfest) anyways cut a long story short they decide to make a gay porno with 2 straight guys (themselves) and they don't follow through... the ending is shit because it ends with that hippy guy watching what they just filmed for about 12 seconds the end... SHITTEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN

This movie is so awful! Definitely NOT what I thought it was going to be. It's just one long-ass boring awkard let down. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could possibly find any ounce of enjoyment out of it. It was just an hour and a half of two normal lame-asses bullshitting with one another about a taboo subject to them. And the ending couldn't have been any more anti-climatic. . I don't know why the director felt the need to make this. Nothing about it was entertaining to me.

It's pretty clear you didn't see this movie (and if you did, you clearly missed the ENTIRE point), but just so you know - the sex is pretty much besides the point. It's a McGuffin. The movie is spectacularly written, has a bunch of really good scenes, and the acting is good.
